摘要： The disclosure relates to communication devices which monitor an audio environment at a remote location and convey to a user a representation of that audio environment. The “representation” may be an abstraction of the audio environment at the remote location or may be a measure of decibels or some other quality or parameter of the audio environment. In some embodiments, the communication devices are two-way devices which allow users at remote locations to share an audio environment. In some embodiments, the communication devices are one way devices. In some embodiments, the communication devices may have the form of a window and be arranged to present sound in a manner that mimics sound received through a window. In such embodiments, the more open the window is, the more sound is relayed by the communication device.

摘要： A curved tracking platform that can be employed on a dynamic seat or divan such as those used in a business jet aircraft so that the seat can be comfortably used as a seat or in an extended bed position. When in the unextended seat position, the tracking platform allows the horizontal portion of the seat to support an occupant pitched back toward the vertical seat cushion at or about an angle of 6° to the horizontal. However, when the tracking platform is extended so that the seat can be used as a bed, the tracking platform travels along a curved frame rail profile which allows the platform to lay flat or substantially flat, thus allowing the vertical cushion to be placed next to the horizontal seat cushion so that they lie substantially flat to provide optimized comfort.

摘要： A transponder-reader payment system includes a fob including a transponder, and a RFID reader for interrogating the transponder. The system may further include a personalization system for populating onto the fob and RFID reader identifying information and security and authentication keys which may be used during mutual authentication of the fob and the reader and for completing a transaction. In exemplary operation, the fob and RFID reader may be personalized, the fob may be presented to the RFID reader for interrogation, the fob and reader may engage in mutual authentication, and fob identifying information may be provided to the reader for transaction completion. In another exemplary embodiment, operation of the transponder-reader payment system may be controlled by an activation circuit. Further, the fob may be responsive to multiple interrogation signals.
