    • A powder coating composition which comprises a mixture of in a given proportion(A) a polyester resin which contains hydroxyl groups as functional group and contains at least 80 mol.% of an aromatic polycarboxylic acid component in the polycarboxylic acid component of said polyester resin, said polyester resin having a softening point of 50.degree.-180.degree. C,(b) a polyacyl-(N-lactam) compound or a polyacyl-(N-imide) compound having a softening point above 40.degree. and(C) a said epoxy resin.The powder coating composition has a very good storage stability, free flowability at room temperature and exhibits good melt flow characteristics when heated above 130.degree. C for baking. Coating films prepared from this powder coating composition are excellent in the mechanical resistance, corrosion resistance, solvent resistance and luster.

    • When an N-acylpolylactam or N-acylpolyimide compound is incorporated into an acrylic copolymer containing as a functional group a hydroxyl group, a thermosetting resinous composition suitable for the production of a paint, especially a powder paint, is obtained. A powder paint prepared from this resinous composition does not cause blocking below 50.degree. C. and therefore, it has a very good storage stability. The powder paint has a free flowability at room temperature and exhibits good melt flow characteristics when heated above 130.degree. C. for baking. Coating films prepared from this coating composition are excellent in the mechanical resistance, adhesion to the substrate, weather resistance, corrosion resistance and solvent resistance. When said acrylic copolymer further contains as a functional group a carboxyl or glycidyl group, the resulting resinous composition has further improved properties useful for a paint.

    • The invention is related to an insulation deterioration diagnostic apparatus for an electric path connected between an inverter device and an inverter-driven load device, including: a zero-phase current transformer having an annular magnetic core, a magnetizing coil wound around the magnetic core, and a detecting coil wound around the magnetic core, the transformer being for detecting a zero-phase current of an electric path; a magnetization control circuit for supplying an alternating current having a frequency at least twice as high as a drive frequency of the load device to the magnetizing coil to magnetize the magnetic core; and a frequency extracting circuit for extracting a frequency component identical to the drive frequency fd, from the output signal of the detecting coil, whereby precisely measuring a current leaking from an inverter-driven load device over a wide range of frequencies.
