SOLUTION: The display device is provided with a display-drive circuit which includes the shift register on a surface of a substrate, and the shift register is constituted of a transistor, having a semiconductor layer. The transistor includes a gate terminal, a first terminal and a second terminal, a synchronous pulse is input into the first terminal; and when the gate terminal is in the floating state, a voltage of the gate terminal increases, in accordance with the change of the synchronous pulse from low level to high level according to a bootstrap effect. A switching circuit is disposed in between the gate terminal and a constant voltage power source line, a signal that sets the transistor to on-state is inputted, thereby, the switching circuit is set to off-state; and as the result, the bootstrap efficiency of the gate terminal is improved.
