    • A device for electrically connecting the conductors on a first PC board to the conductors on a second PC board includes a housing having a mounting surface for mounting on the first board, an exposed surface opposite the mounting surface, and a pair of opposed side walls. A plurality of channels open through the exposed surface, each having an interior defined between the interior surfaces of the side walls. A compliant contact element, formed as an integral conductive element, is disposed in each channel. The contact element includes an end portion formed as a termination pad on the mounting surface, a lead portion extending from the first end portion along an adjacent side wall toward the exposed surface and then through the adjacent side wall and the interior surface of that wall into the interior of one of the channels, a supporting portion extending within the interior of the channel, and an electrical contact portion flexibly joined to the supporting portion and extending outwardly from the channel beyond the exposed surface so as to establish electrical contact with one of the conductors on the second board when the second board is located adjacent to the first board. In one embodiment, the electrical contact portion is flexibly joined to the support portion along an arcuate bend so as to form an acute angle therewith. In another embodiment, the electrical contact portion is a finger-shaped element flexibly joined on each side to a cantilevered supporting portion.

    • A system and method for controlling a multiphase electric motor fitted to a motor vehicle. The motor includes a rotor powered by a voltage chopper or a rotor with permanent magnets and a stator powered by a multiphase voltage inverter. The multiphase voltage inverter is powered via a high-voltage DC bus. The control system receives as an input a torque setpoint of an electric-vehicle computer. The system also includes a system for the dynamic control of the torque setpoint to determine a dynamic correction of torque ripple and a device for determining setpoints for powering the electric motor as a function of the torque setpoint and of the dynamic correction of torque ripple.

    • A radio frequency receiver comprising a receiver module, an intermediate frequency (“IF”) module, a synthesizer module and a controller module. The receiver module receives a radio frequency signal and provides a baseband in-phase signal and a baseband quadrature signal, eliminates a sideband of the in-phase and quadrature signals to create a first and a second signal, downconverts the first and second signal to a first and a second IF signal, and selects one of the first or second IF signals. The IF module receives the first or second IF signal, performs analog-to-digital conversion on the first or second IF signal, and demodulates the digitally converted IF signal. The synthesizer module receives a programmable reference signal, downconverts the reference signal to an IF feedback signal, downconverts the reference signal to a baseband feedback signal, provides the IF feedback signal to the IF module, and provides the baseband feedback signal to the receiver module. The controller module samples the digitally converted IF signal and provides the programmable reference signal to the synthesizer module to thereby provide a demodulated output signal.
