    • A plasma antenna generator includes an ionizable material, an explosive charge capable of projecting the ionizable material upon detonation, and a detonator coupled with the explosive charge. An electromagnetic pulse transmitting system includes an electromagnetic pulse generator and a plasma antenna generator capable of reradiating an electromagnetic pulse emitted from the electromagnetic pulse generator. A method includes providing an explosive device comprising an ionizable material, detonating the explosive device to propel the ionizable material, and ionizing the ionizable material to form at least one plasma trail. A sensing system includes an electromagnetic pulse generator, a plasma antenna generator capable of reradiating an electromagnetic pulse emitted from the electromagnetic pulse generator, and a sensing system capable of receiving and analyzing at least a portion of the electromagnetic pulse after being reflected from an interface.

    • A connector which includes a female part having a barrel-shaped body, with a socket extending into the female part from one end of the barrel-shaped body. The socket includes first, second, and third step portions which respectively receive a flange, a shoulder, and a stem of a male part. A lip extends radially inwardly from the barrel-shaped body of the female part, with the lip having an inner diameter smaller than the outer diameter of the flange of the male part. The male part can be inserted into the female part by inserting the flange of the male part past the lip of the female part, such that the male and female parts are snapped together. In a presently preferred embodiment, a seal ring is disposed between the male and female parts, and the seal ring is compressed in an axial direction, thereby providing the connector with a fluid tight seal.

    • A trim molding structure that uses at least one magnet to attach to a metal frame such as a metal door frame and a metal window frame is presented. At least one magnetic element is affixed to a trim member of a trim molding structure. The magnetic element can be affixed to the trim member using various means such as an adhesive material that loses adhesiveness when its temperature exceeds approximately its temperature limit. When the temperature of the adhesive material exceeds approximately its temperature limit, the adhesive material loses adhesiveness and releases the trim molding structure from the metal frame. An intumescent material that expands when its temperature exceeds approximately its activation temperature can be attached between a trim member and a metal frame. In case of fire, the intumescent material expands and pushes the trim molding structure away from the metal frame when the temperature of the intumescent material exceeds approximately its activation temperature. In an alternative embodiment, the intumescent material can be replaced by a spring.
