    • PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for restoring colors are provided to create color control gains using compensated wideband pixel values by compensating the wideband pixel value based on the saturation of the wideband pixel value. CONSTITUTION: A color correction gain creation unit(140) converts the first wideband pixel value of a first image based on saturation gains. The color correction gain creation unit calculates the color correction gains based on a first narrowband value of the first image and the converted first wideband pixel value. A color compensation unit(150) convers the second wideband pixel value of a second image based on a color gain different correction value. The color compensation unit calculates a reconstruction narrowband pixel value based on the color correction gain, the converted second wideband pixel value, and the second narrowband pixel value of the second image.

    • PURPOSE: An image sensor performing a binning operation in a domain is provided to acquire the image of high resolution in a pixel area by excluding spatial resolution of low illuminance. CONSTITUTION: A pixel array(210) includes a plurality of unit pixels. A column readout circuit(230) is composed at the column of a plurality of unit pixels. The column readout circuit includes column reading units. The column read station gets an image frame from the array of the pixel. The column readout circuit generates the low-illumination area information. If the next video frame is inputted, the low water in which the column readout circuit pitches is proceed the binning operation.

Based on the dynamic range of a display device to which an image is outputted and the dynamic range for the analyzed interest region, the dynamic range processing unit processes the dynamic range of the image adaptively.     • PURPOSE: An image processing apparatus and a method thereof are provided to enable a user to obtain high-sensitivity image of low noise characteristic by processing images with color information of high noise characteristic through the light of an optical wavelength band or infrared ray. CONSTITUTION: A first noise reduction part(401) eliminates the noise of an auxiliary image signal. The second noise reduction part(402) eliminates the noise of a main image signal through the information about the auxiliary image signal. The high frequency extracting part(403) extracts the high frequency component of the auxiliary image signal from the output of the first noise reduction part. The detail recovery part(404) receives the output of the second noise reduction part. The detail recovery module restores the detail of the main image signal through the high frequency component of the auxiliary image signal.
