In the hall lantern installed in the vertical frame 3b of the jamb on an elevator landing hall, the illuminating body 6 is installed on the box 8, and the light source 7 is installed on the cover 9 via the L-shaped plate 10. This light source 7 is arranged in large numbers in a straight line shape, and is vertically irradiated to the illuminating body 6, so that the hall lantern for reducing the unevenness of the light can be realized, while improving the assembling workability by forming respective parts as an integral structure.
