    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the liberation of an ink and a varnish in a pile of discharged printed sheets of paper by a face printing or double-side printing by a method wherein a drying device is disposed in an opening of the guide surface of a printed sheet guide system as a module, and the drying device is functionally combined with an air cooling system which is a separate body. SOLUTION: When a sheet of paper 5 is printed on one surface, the printed sheet 5 is dried by a drying device 10 which is operating. The pneumatic system 13 of a printed sheet guide system 9 which is disposed so as to correspond, is switched to a suction operation, and a cooling system 15 circulates cooling medium. When a drying device 18 is started, simultaneously with the heat transfer of the drying device 10 to the printed surface of the printed sheet 5, the rear surface which is not printed, is heated by the drying device 18 as well. At this time, fortunately, the temperature difference between the face surface and the rear surface of the printed sheet 5 is extremely small, and for this reason, in a pile of discharged sheets, the transfer of an ink or a varnish to the rear surface due to a heat transfer path, becomes drastically less.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify manufacturing and handling and to make it possible to use a coating apparatus at various assembling position. SOLUTION: An outlet opening 8 facing to a roller 2 of a printing machine and a medium-amount adjusting roller 11 supported rotatably on the outlet opening are provided in a container 1 which can be filled with a medium and the range projected from the outlet opening 8 can be pushed on the roller 2 and a quantity adjusting gap 23 with a controllable width is provided between the outer peripheral face of the quantity adjusting roller 11 and the restricted face positioned by facing to the quantity adjusting roller 11 and the quantity adjusting roller 11 is freely rotatably supported and can be driven by means of a roller 2 based on frictional contact with the roller 2 and the position of the quantity adjusting roller 11 is changeable to the container 1 through an adjusting device 22 in the radial direction to the axial line of rotation and the width of the quantity adjusting gap relates to the position of the quantity adjusting roller 11 in the container 1.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clean a surface of a printer cylinder, packing paper and a film, on which paper dust and stain like a solidified printing ink are fixed, by coating the surface of the printer cylinder with an aqueous alkaline cleaning agent and removing the cleaning agent with a cleaning liquid after the cleaning agent is made to act on the surface for a fixed time. SOLUTION: When an aqueous alkaline cleaning agent is supplied to a casing 12 and an ink attaching roller 9 is rotated, a large number of wells arranged on the outer face of the ink attaching roller 9 receive the cleaning agent from the casing 12 and convey a desired cleaning agent to a printer cylinder 5. At this time, the ink attaching roller 9 is attached with pressure to the cylinder 5, and the cylinder 5 is rotated. When the cleaning agent is completely supplied to the surface of the cylinder 5, a cleaning device 7 is cut off from the cylinder 5 and the cylinder 5 is stopped. The cleaning agent applied to the surface of the cylinder 5 forms a gel-like film on the surface of the cylinder 5. The film acts on the structurized surface of the cylinder 5 for a fixed time. After the acting time has passed, a cleaning device 6 is attached with pressure to the outer face of the cylinder 5 and the cleaning agent is washed away from the surface of the cylinder 5 with water.
