    • PURPOSE:A disk of rice cake is shaved into a band and the band is cut into strips as the speed of band cutting is always synchronized with the shaving speed whereby strips of rice cake measuring desired dimensions are stably produced from a band of rice cake. CONSTITUTION:A disk of hard rice cake 2 is set to the rotary shaft 1 of the cutter, and the disk is shaved into a band along its periphery. The resultant band of rice cake 2a is cut into strips of prescribed dimensions with a rotary blade 7 in the cutter where a torque automatic controller 13 is set on a certain position in the power transmission system for the rotary shaft 1. In the meantime, the peripheral speed of the disk rice cake is detected with a roller 14 which is always brought into contact with the outer periphery of the disk rice cake and the detecting signals are used to control the speed of band cutting so that the length of the strips is kept in a desired value. Thus, the disk rice cake is protected from overshock and smoothly shaved and cut in high yield whereby strips of rice cake are always produced with high stability.

The ratio between the diameter D of the heat storage tank 8 and the full length L corresponding to the horizontal length is determine in a range 1:3-6 and in the sectioned tank inside 36 are closely accommodated small spherical heat storage bodies 37. Draining means 41 are formed on the lower surface of a drum body 27 so as to permit the passage of the medium within a gap 42 between heat storage bodies 37.

The loaded object is forcibly pushed on a fork 10 from the back by means of a forced member 63, and simultaneously, right and left pushing pieces 52 are pushed against the loaded object B from both sides to position the both sides. The fork 10 is then raised and is positioned right above the loading part C of a roll box pallet A, the loaded object B is pushed against the back of the pallet by means of a pushing piece 62 to move backward the fork 10. Through similar operation, the fork 10 is raised by one stage to pile the loaded objects in stages. This enables automation of loading and increase in loading efficiency.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a heating device which has high heat efficiency and can apply the heat uniformly, by applying the heat by means of radiation rays. CONSTITUTION:A porous radiation material 4 and a partition 3 are disposed at a specified distance to form a combustion chamber 5. The combustion chamber 5 is provided with combustion burners 6 in a position in the vicinity of the heat radiation material and is formed in an enclosure structure to exhaust combustion gas through the heat radiation materials 4. A fluid heating chamber 12 is formed on the other side of the partition 3, a porous collecting material 14 is located in the fluid heating chamber 12 and fluid to be heated is heated through the collecting material 14. As noted above, a title device is constituted such that radiation rays emitted to the combustion chamber 5 side are transmitted through the partition 3 to heat the collecting material 14 and heat fluid 16 to be heated flowing through the collecting material 14 about uniformly, and thereby the device is high in heat efficiency and excellent in uniform heating. Thus, the heating device is suitable for a heating device used in a process in a chemical plant in which cracking of petroleum, methane reformer for producing hydrogen, and transalkylating reaction are effected.
