    • The present invention relates to a parallax barrier and to an apparatus and method for multi-viewpoint three-dimensional image display comprising same. The parallax barrier comprises a light transmission unit and a light-shielding unit alternately arranged, wherein the light transmission unit has a width corresponding to the width of a sub-pixel of a display panel, and the ratio of the width of the light transmission unit to the width of the light-shielding unit is set to 1:n-1, wherein n is the number of viewpoints and n is an integer larger than 3, and the light transmission unit and the light-shielding unit are tilted at a predetermined angle such that two sub-pixels from among R, G and B sub-pixels are exposed through the light transmission unit in mth line of the display panel, all of the R, G and B sub-pixels are exposed through the light transmission unit in the (m+1)th line of the display panel, and two sub-pixels from among the R, G and B sub-pixels are exposed through the light transmission unit in (m+2)th line of the display panel. The present invention also relates to an apparatus and method for multi-viewpoint three-dimensional image display comprising the parallax barrier.

A polarized stereoscopic display device for displaying stereoscopically a first image and a second image of a predetermined object photographed from different angle may comprise a first signal processing part for signal processing the first image and producing a first input image and inputting it to a first projector so that a first output beam outputted from the first projector corresponding to said first image is outputted from the first projector with a 90 degree phase difference with respect to a second output beam outputted from the second projector corresponding to said second image, wherein the first signal processing part may comprise a image rotating part for rotating a inputted image by 90 degree, a resizing part combined with a output terminal of the image rotating part for resizing the image rotated by 90 degree corresponding to a screen and output it to the first projector.
