    • A tire changing device is disclosed which comprises a tire support tray having two spaced apart adjacent parallel slots in the mid-section of the tray and a rotating cylindrical roller located in each slot. An incline plate is hingedly connected to the tire support table which plate also has two spaced apart adjacent parallel slots which when the incline plate is rotated and rolled on the tire support plate the two slots in the tray and the two slots in the incline table mate with the surface of the two rollers protruding above the surface of the tire table. A telescoping rim capture rod extend upward from the tire tray and terminates in a horizontal hook for retaining the tire securely in place. The tire to be changed is rolled up the incline plate onto the tire tray and is secured between the two surfaces of the rollers. After the tire change, the tire is rolled down the incline plate and into storage away from the tire changing device.

    • The present invention relates to a device and method for moving a disabled vehicle. More specifically, the invention includes a main frame assembly that is constructed and arranged for placement and adjacent to the outside portion of a vehicle wheel to allow one operator movement of the vehicle. An electric motor and battery(s) operate through a gear train to rotate an adapter plate in both forward and reverse directions. The adapter plate is constructed and arranged to cooperate with the lug nuts or wheel studs to provide rotation to the wheel upon operation of the electric motor. A hand or remotely operable controller is provided for the operation of the electric motor which allows for operation of the device while walking alongside or sitting at the driver's position within the vehicle.

    • A wheel handling apparatus includes a wheel engaging arrangement for holding a wheel assembly that is to be removed from a vehicle. The wheel engaging arrangement includes a first and a second wheel support arm, each of which is curved to follow the circumference of the wheel assembly to define a cradle in which the wheel assembly can rest as it is removed from the vehicle.     • A wheel securing device is utilized with a wheel cradle of a automobile dolly for securing an automobile wheel towing an automobile. The wheel securing device includes a frame, a shaft mounted to rotate in the frame. The shaft extends beyond the frame and the shaft has a slot through it within the frame. A ratchet gear is mounted on the shaft outside and adjacent to the frame. A latch is mounted to rotate on the frame to engage the ratchet gear to permit rotation of the ratchet gear and the shaft in only one direction. A web assembly is utilized for mounting on the automobile wheel. The web assembly is connected to the shaft at the slot. A drive pulley is mounted on the shaft and the drive pulley has a nut extending from it on the side of the drive pulley opposite from the side facing the ratchet gear for tightening the web assembly on the automobile wheel. By placing the ratchet gear and latch on the outside of the frame and extending the shaft, the drive wheel can be placed outside the cradle for easy operation.

    • The present invention relates to a trolley for supporting a tire of a vehicle so that the latter can be moved without the tire touching the ground. More specifically, the apparatus of the present invention comprises a foldable frame equipped with at least one front wheel and two rear wheels, self adjusting and locking front and rear support members haivng a plurality of parallel rows of rollers, the outermost rollers being bevelled to help center the vehicle tire on the tolley and to minimize the tendency of the vehicle tire to roll out of the trolley. The rear support member serves as a drive-on ramp for the vehicle tire, rotating about its axle under the pressure exerted by the tire being driven thereupon as the tire reaches a certain distance from the beginning of the part. When in a tilted position, the rear support member and the front support member automatically lock into position and support said vehicle tire.
