    • An elastic mount comprising: an outer hollow member which is formed of an aluminum alloy and has an inner hole; an inner shaft member which extends in the inner hole of the outer member; an elastic member which is formed by vulcanization of a rubber material in the inner hole between the outer member and the inner member to elastically connect the outer and inner members to each other; the outer member having an inner circumferential surface including a plurality of recesses and a plurality of protrusions which cooperate with each other to define the inner hole and each of which continuously extends in an axial direction of the inner hole; the recesses and the protrusions being alternate with each other at a pitch of 0.5 mm to 2.0 mm in a circumferential direction of the inner hole; a top end of each of the protrusions having a height of 0.3 mm to 1.0 mm from respective bottom ends of the two recesses on both sides of, and adjacent to, each protrusion; the elastic member being directly bonded to the inner surface of the outer member by the vulcanization of the rubber material.

    • A fluid-filled elastic engine mount for a motor vehicle having an engine, comprising a first and a second mounting member which are connected by an elastic body that partially defines a pressure-receiving chamber, a flexible diaphragm member which partially defines an equilibrium chamber, and orifice means for effecting fluid communication between the pressure-receiving and equilibrium chambers. The orifice means defines a first and a second orifice passage which are respectively tuned to adjust respective different components of the idling vibrations of the engine, and a third orifice passage which is tuned to a frequency range lower than that of the engine idling vibrations. The orifice means comprises a movable member which partially defines one of the first and second orifice passages which is tuned to adjust one of the different components of the idling vibration whose frequency is higher than the other of the different components, the movable member restricting an amount of flow of fluid through one of the first and second orifice passages. The engine mount further comprises valve means for selectively enabling or disabling both of the first and said second orifice passages simultaneously for permitting or inhibiting the fluid communication between the two chambers.

    • A fluid-filled elastic mount wherein a fluid-tight space defined by two mounting members, an elastic body and a flexible diaphragm is divided by a partition member into pressure-receiving and equilibrium chambers communicating with each other through at least one orifice passage, and through a rotary valve which is accommodated in a valve hole in the partition member such that the rotary valve is rotatable in sliding contact with a sliding surface of the valve hole. The valve has a cutout communicating with the equilibrium chamber, and a valve portion adjacent to the valve portion, so that the orifice passage is selectively closed by the valve member and opened through the cutout in communication with the equilibrium chamber. The elastic mount includes a mechanism for converting a reciprocating movement into a rotary motion of the valve. The mechanism includes a drive rod which is connected to the valve such that the connecting point is offset from the rotation axis of the vale in the radial direction. The other end of the drive rod is located outside the elastic mount for receiving the reciprocating movement.
