    • A current mirror circuit which comprises a current input terminal, a current output terminal, an input-current supplying section, a first transistor, and a second transistor. The input-current supplying section supplies an input current to the current input terminal. The first transistor has a collector coupled to the current input terminal, an emitter coupled to a first power-supply potential terminal, and a base. The second transistor has a collector connected to the current output terminal, an emitter coupled to the first power-potential terminal, and a base connected to the base of the first transistor. The current mirror circuit further comprises a third transistor and a current mirror section. The third transistor a collector, a base coupled to the collector of the first transistor, and an emitter coupled to the first power-supply potential terminal. The current mirror section supplies a current proportionate to the collector current of the third transistor, to the bases of the first and second transistors.

    • A beam-indexing color picture tube includes a gun for producing an electron beam that scans across a screen of the tube and a plurality of index phosphor stripes provided on the screen for emitting near-ultraviolet index lights. The near-ultraviolet index lights are transmitted through a window formed in the tube to a detector. The detector is formed by a planar fluorescent collector doped with fluorescent material for absorbing the near-ultraviolet index lights, and at the same time, generating secondary index lights having different wavelength than that of the near-ultraviolet index lights. A silicon p-i-n photodiode is mounted on the planar fluorescent collector for detecting the secondary index lights and for generating electrical signal representing the near-ultraviolet index lights.

    • An print control apparatus for printing a reproduction checking image in colors. In a print control apparatus 1 that has a printing device 6 to print a document, a CPU 2 combines a remaining pattern image composed of dots larger than a minimum dot size readable by a color copying machine and a vanishing pattern image composed of dots having the same size as the larger dot and dots smaller than the minimum dot readable by the color copying machine to produce a reproduction checking image and causes the printing device 6 to print the reproduction checking image along with document print data on paper (FIG. 1).
