    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase an amount of lubricating oil supplied to a first sliding face of a radial bearing, which freely rotatably supports a drive shaft of an oil pump acceleratedly rotated with respect to an input shaft, and a second sliding face of a thrust bearing. SOLUTION: Rotation of the input shaft 17 is transmitted to the drive shaft 31 of the oil pump 30 via gears 45, 43 while accelerating it. A lubricating-oil hole 50 is provided in the oil pump 30 so as to supply a part of the lubricating oil, which is discharged from a discharge-side oil chamber 37, to the first sliding face 32a of the radial bearing 32 via the lubricating-oil hole 50. A part of the lubricating oil supplied from the input shaft 17 side to a bearing 56 via oil paths a, b, and c and an oil reservoir 61 is supplied to the second sliding face 47a, which freely rotatably supports a thrust washer 46, by providing a notched part 61b of the oil reservoir 61 and a first rib 62.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt-type continuously variable transmission for a front engine-rear drive(FR) capable of ensuring a predetermined minimum road clearance without narrowing the accommodation space of front seats to the utmost. SOLUTION: This device is provided with an input shaft 2 interlocked with an engine output shaft, an output shaft 23 interlocked with a rear wheel, a belt-type continuously variable transmission 11 having a primary pulley 7 interlocked with the inlet shaft, a secondary pulley 9, and a belt 12 wound around both the pulleys, and a planetary gear 19 having a carrier 19c interlocked with the input shaft, a sun gear 19s interlocked with the secondary pulley, and a ring gear 19r interlocked with the output shaft. In the belt-type continuously variable transmission for the FR wherein the direction of the torque transmission between the pulleys 7, 9 through the planetary gear 19 in accordance with the change of the pulley ratio is changed and the forward, neutral and reverse states of the vehicle are set, the planetary gear 19 is concentrically disposed with the pulley shaft 15 of the secondary pulley 9, and the output shaft 23 is disposed between the pulley axes of both the pulleys 7, 9.
