摘要： A method, system, device, and computer code product is disclosed in which a sender transmits data to a plurality of receivers via a point-to-multipoint session. The receiver sends data repair requests to the sender requesting data expected but not received and the sender retransmits the expected but not received data via the point-to-multipoint session. The sender can also schedule point-to-point data repair sessions with individual receivers if the retransmission via the point-to-multipoint session does not correct all errors. The sender can be configured to delay point-to-point repair sessions using a randomization mechanism based on the number of receivers using the point-to-multipoint session.

According to the method, the request indicates to the streaming server (111) a current downlink air-interface bandwidth and that said adapting of the streaming server transmission bit rate is performed in accordance with said current downlink air-interface bandwidth.

摘要： Methods, devices and computer program products for facilitating the selection of a sourcing peer in peer-to-peer (P2P) streaming environment are disclosed. These methods allow peers to select candidate source peers in an informed manner with low overhead and minimized complexity. These and other features are accomplished by signalling detailed information regarding the buffer contents to one or more requesting peers. This information includes the presence or absence of requested content segments and a listing of gaps in the requested content segments, which allow the requesting peers to select an appropriate sourcing peer. The selection of a sourcing peer is also effected by considering network connectivity and/or network congestion status between the sourcing and the requesting peers.

摘要： A method for providing geo-predictive streaming services may include receiving, at a mobile terminal, an indication of network performance parameters associated with a corresponding time and location of a projected route of the mobile terminal, determining, at the mobile terminal, whether a portion of the projected route corresponds to an outage event with respect to data being streamed to the mobile terminal, and, in response to a determination that the outage event corresponds to the portion of the projected route, causing communication of at least one of a geo-predictive next application data unit and an estimated capacity vector to a streaming server to a streaming server providing the data being streamed to cause a modification to a data transmission rate at which data is to be streamed to the mobile terminal. A corresponding computer program product, system and apparatus are also provided.
