The imaging unit 23 comprises: a male part coupling 53 that is provided to a unit rear end part 100b, and connected with a developing body driving mechanism 110 on a device body side; a unit driving mechanism 52 that is provided to the unit rear end part 100b, in a drive transmission relationship with the male part coupling 53, and drives a shaft 37a of a second stirring conveyance screw 37 and the like in the imaging unit 23; and a rear cover 45 that is provided to the unit rear end part 100b, and covers the unit driving mechanism 52 and exposes the male part coupling 53. The rear cover 45 forms developing side air channels 30 (first split air channel 30a and second split air channel 30b) that pass through the unit driving mechanism 52.
