    • PURPOSE:To improve response property and economic property by providing a variable resistance body in the path of communicating pipe to make a bypass circuit unnecessary. CONSTITUTION:A stop valve 40 is provided on the way of a communicating pipe circuit connected to a condensing pipe 30 and the control thereof is effected by a temperature controller TIC10. A control information is obtained from a fluid temperature at the outlet 7 of low-temperature fluid and the stop valve 40 is intercepted for the period of time in which the temperature exceeds a set value. Heat medium, evaporated at the side of high-temperature fluid, is delivered to the group 30 of condensing pipes through a vapor communicating pipe 11 and is condensed in the group 30. The condensing temperature upon this condensation becomes the saturation temperature in a vapor pressure lower than the side of evaporation. Heat, generated by the condensation, is delivered to the low-temperature fluid through the heat medium at the side of low temperature and increases the temperature of fluid at the outlet 7 of the low-temperature fluid. Accordingly, the pressure loss DELTAP of the communicating pipe or a temperature drop DELTAT can be increased by closing the stop valve 40 provided as the resistance in the communicating pipe circuit, therefore, the temperature of the high-temperature side heat medium may be increased and the temperature of the low-temperature side heat medium may be reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To maintain the temperature of heating pipes on the exhaust gas side higher than the dew point of an acid and avoid low-temperature corrosion by regulating the heat transmitting area on the water side of heat pipes by changing the pipe length. CONSTITUTION:The interior of a cylindrical drum 9 is partitioned into two passages by a partition wall 10, one of the passages being used for an exhaust gas heat exchanger 11 and the other for a hot-water heat exchanger 16. Further, a plurality of heating pipes 21a, 21b, 21c are arranged to pierce through the partition wall 10, the heat pipes on the side of the hot-water heat exchanger 16 are provided with different lengths so that the heat transmitting area of the heat pipes on the side of the heat exchanger 16 is increased gradually in the direction from an inlet 17 toward an outlet 19 and that the temperature of the heat pipes on the side of the exhaust gas heat exchanger 11 is kept higher than the acid dew point. Accordingly, low-temperature corrosion can be avoided by keeping the temperature of the pipes on the exhaust gas side higher than the dew point of an acid by utilizing heat pipes.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent foreign matter from being caught in a comb-teeth between pallets by forming approach surfaces of a comb-teeth formed on the upper surface of a pallet and a comb-teeth of an adjacent pallet formed opposite to the above comb-teeth in different positions in the axial direction of the pallet. SOLUTION: When pallets A, B are separated from each other, foreign matter 4 goes among fixed comb-teeth 21, 31, 22, 32, and when the pallets A, B approach each other at an disembarking entrance, before the fixed comb teeth 21, 31 approach, a fixed comb-teeth 32 of a projecting type arrangement moves the foreign matter 4 upward along the inclined surfaces 32b, 21b of the fixed comb teeth 32, 21 in cooperation with the fixed comb-teeth 21 to be again jumped up on the upper surface of the fixed comb-teetch 5 of the disembarking entrance. Thus, the foreign matter can be jumped out upward, so that there is no possibility of foreign matter's being caught below the fixed comb-teeth 5 of the disembarking entrance. Accordingly, even if foreign matter exists in the approach surfaces of the fixed comb-teetch 21, 31, 22, 32, it is jumped out upward by the inclined surfaces 32b, 21b of the fixed comb-teetch inclined surfaces 32b, 21b so that the conveyer is kept from being stopped.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contrive the improvement of efficiency, saving of human power and automation of operation of the scraping-out of slag. SOLUTION: A slag removing device is constituted of a slag dragger 4, provided with a scrape-out plate 2 provided at the tip end of a scrape-out arm 3, a molten metal level sensor 19 for measuring the height of level of molten metal 8, an amount of wearing measuring mechanism 1 for measuring the amount of wearing of the scrape-out plate 2 and a control device 20, controlling the height of the scrape-out plate 2 with respect to the height of level of molten metal 8 based on the measuring value of amount of wearing of the scrape-out plate 2. The amount of wearing of the scrape-out plate 2 is measured employing the amount of wearing measuring mechanism 1 after effecting the scrape-out of predetermined strokes to correct a difference between the reference length of scrape-out plate 2 before wearing and control the position of tip end of the scrape-out plate with respect to the height of level of molten metal whereby the scrape-out plate is dipped into slag with a given dipping depth at all times.
