摘要： A compound having the following formula [I] or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof: wherein A is an aromatic five-membered heterocycle which optionally is fused with a cycloalkane ring; B is an alkylene; R1 and R2 are hydrogen, hydroxyl, alkoxy, aryloxy, alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, heterocycle, amino, alkylamino, arylamino or acyl, or R1 and R2 join together to form a heterocycle; X and Y are hydrogen, halogen, hydroxyl, alkoxy, aryloxy, alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, mercapto, alkylthio, arylthio, carboxyl, an ester of carboxyl, an amide of carboxyl, cyano or nitro; p is 0, 1 or 2; and q is 0 or 1. The compound is useful for treating diseases in which angiogenesis or augmentation of vascular permeability is involved.

摘要： A method for producing a toner including periodically forming and discharging liquid droplets of a toner composition liquid containing at least a resin, a releasing agent and a colorant from a plurality of nozzles formed in a thin film which is provided in a reservoir for the toner composition liquid, by vibrating the thin film using a mechanically vibrating unit, and forming toner particles by solidifying the liquid droplets, wherein the forming toner particles comprises primarily drying the liquid droplets under a stream of dry gas containing an organic solvent whose partial pressure is equal to or higher than 1/10 of a saturated vapor pressure thereof but is equal to or lower than the saturated vapor pressure, the saturated vapor pressure being that at a drying temperature; and secondarily drying the primarily dried liquid droplets for solidification while the organic solvent is being evaporated.

摘要： A method for manufacturing a toner, including: dissolving or dispersing toner constituents including a resin, a colorant, a release agent, and a graft polymer including a polyolefin resin unit and a vinyl resin unit in a solvent, to prepare a toner constituent liquid; supplying the toner constituent liquid to a retention part configured to retain the toner constituent liquid; discharging the toner constituent liquid from the retention part to a granulation space through plural holes arranged on the retention part, while exciting the toner constituent liquid by a vibration means in contact with a part of the retention part, so that the discharged columnar toner constituent liquid is constricted to form liquid droplets; and converting the liquid droplets into solid toner particles; together with a toner manufactured by the above method.

The toner image is primary transferred from the image bearer to the transfer member. A speed difference between the image bearer and the transfer member at the contact area is 0.1% or greater but 0.8% or less. The toner has an average circularity of 0.971 or greater but 0.986 or less and a shape factor SF-2 of 110 or greater but 119 or less. The speed difference is represented by the following formula: Speed difference [%]={(V1−V2)/V2}×100 [Speed difference] where V1 is a linear speed of the image bearer, and V2 is a linear speed of the transfer member.
