摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the burden at site to a great extent by introducing an assist means on a mirror scale for replacing the material such as powder in a powder flow tank and changing to an efficient operation. SOLUTION: A sealed tank 1 having an approx. rectangular cross section is divided into an over-situated powder flow chamber 3 and an under-situated air chamber for flowing 4 by a porous plate 2 laid transversely on the whole section with a mild gradient, and the air chamber 4 is further divided by vertical bulkheads 41 into a plurality of minor air chambers 42A, 42B, 42C... about the inclining direction, wherein the air pressure is adjustable for individual minor chambers. In particular, the adjustment should preferably be made by a controlling mechanism 5 which performs control automatically in conformity to the initial conditions stored in memory in advance. With a decrease of the residual amount, powder P slides smoothly toward the exhaust port owing to the inclination of the porous plate, and further the flow of the powder is promoted through adjustment of the air pressures in the minor chambers so that the powder is allowed to gather at the exhaust port and then exhausted.

SOLUTION: The powder feed inlet 2 is a cylindrical body provided with the cover face 21 protruded from the top face 11 of a hermetically sealed tank 1 to detachably fit the upper cover 23, and the bottom face 22 projecting to the inside. And a cone 3 with a conical body contained in the cylindrical body is fitted to form an inclined space E narrowed as it goes down between both cylindrical and conical bodies. A powder suction duct 4 wound up on the outer peripheral face 25 of the feed inlet on the top face 11 of the hermetically sealed tank is connected to the inside of the tank at one end 41 and connected to a duct collector 6 at the other end 42 so as to be freely opened or closed. On feeding the powder P, a large quantity of the powder is stirred up, but as the nearby position of the end 41 is always in a negative pressure through the powdery material-suction duct 4, the entrained air passing through the inclined space narrowed as it goes down is sucked while increasing the speed to prevent the stirring-up dust from flowing out to the outside.

SOLUTION: The epoxy resin (A) used here is a combination of an amorphous epoxy resin (a1) with a crystalline epoxy resin (a2). Resin (a1) has an m.p. of 80-120 deg.C, a viscosity at 160 deg.C of 100P or lower, a viscosity at 200 deg.C of 20P or lower, and a ratio of wt. average to number average mol.wt. of 2.0-3.5, an example being a bisphenol epoxy resin. The compounding ratio of (a1)/(a2) is (80/20)-(99/1). The arylimidazoline compd. (B) is represented by the formula (wherein R to R are each 1-9C alkyl), an example being phenylimidazoline. The compounding ratio (in terms of equivalent) of A/B is pref. (1.0/0.10)-(1.0/0.80).

The solid epoxy resin is produced by reacting a bisphenol F epoxy resin with a polycondensation product of a phenol having a binuclear component content of >=90 wt.% and a ketone compound, the epoxy equivalent of the solid epoxy resin is 500-2,500 g/eq and the bonding site of the carbon atom originated from the ketone group on the aromatic ring relative to the phenyl ether group satisfies the relationship of (ortho, ortho)/(para, para)=0.01 to 0.50.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject coating material remarkably excellent in a pinhole-preventing property and in the heat resistance of coating films by using bis(diglycidyloxynaphthyl) alkane as an epoxy resin for the powder coating. SOLUTION: This powder coating contains (A) bis(diglycidyloxynaphthyl) alkane and (B) a curing agent as essential components. Bis(2,7-diglycidyloxy-1- naphthyl)methane is preferable as the raw material of the component A. The epoxy resin is preferably obtained by reacting 2,7-dihydroxynaphthalene with formaldehyde and subsequently reacting the obtained bis(2,7-dihydroxy-1- naphthyl)methane of raw material phenolic compound with epichlorohydrin. The component B is preferably dicyandiamide or a phenol novolak resin. The further formulating (C) a bisphenol type epoxy resin is preferable, because the heat resistance of the powder coating is remarkably improved. Therein, the component A is preferably compounded in an amount of 20-80wt.% based on the total amount of the components A and C.
