摘要： A sputter target assembly includes a cobalt target diffusion bonded to an aluminum or copper backing plate by means of a titanium interlayer. The sputter target assembly may be made by hot vacuum pressing or, preferably, by hot isostatically pressing the target, interlayer and backing plate together. Preferably, the titanium interlayer is provided as a foil, but may also be formed on a mating surface of either the target or the backing plate by electroplating, sputtering, electroless plating, or plasma spraying. The target may be advantageously machined with grooves defining salient points prior to providing the interlayer.

摘要： Components of aluminium production cells made of composite materials comprising ordered aluminide compounds of at least one of nickel, iron and titanium, for use in particular as anodes and cathodes and cell linings in aluminium production cells containing a fluoride-based molten electrolyte containing dissolved alumina and cerium species, are produced by micropyretic reaction of a reaction mixture comprising compacted particulate reactants which react to produce the composite material. The reaction mixture is mixed with a cerium-based colloidal carrier, dried and compacted into a reaction body bonded by the cerium-based colloidal carrier, and the colloid-bonded reaction body is ignited to initiate the micropyretic reaction. One preferred reaction mixture comprises 50 to 90 parts by weight of particulate nickel, 5 to 30 parts by weight of particulate aluminium, 5 to 25 parts by weight of particulate copper and 0 to 15 parts by weight of additives selected from chromium, manganese, vanadium, molybdenum, zirconium, niobium and cerium and compounds thereof, as well as compounds of aluminium, nickel, iron, titanium and copper.

After the recombinant Saccharomyces cerevisiae containing the diacylglycerol acyltransferase 1 of the invention is subjected to induction culture for 48 h, the content of total fatty acid and triacylglycerol in the recombinant Saccharomyces cerevisiae containing the diacylglycerol acyltransferase 1 can be respectively increased by 1.94 folds and 12.09 folds as compared with those of Saccharomyces cerevisiae without the recombinant diacylglycerol acyltransferase 1. The instant invention provides a method for improving the ability of microorganisms to produce polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) by means of genetic engineering.

The method further includes calculating, by the processing device, a dynamic boundary curve for each of a plurality of moving windows. The method further includes generating, by the processing device, the high-resolution lithology model based at least in part on the calculated dynamic boundary curve for each of the plurality of moving windows. The method further includes controlling a drilling operation based at least in part on the high-resolution lithology model.

The method is implemented using at least one processor in communication with at least one memory. The method includes receiving a radiation treatment plan for treating a region of interest. The radiation treatment plan includes a prescribed radiation dosage and patient anatomical data of the region of interested to be treated. The method also includes applying an inverse planning optimization model to determine an optimal thickness of an interior surface of the tandem applicator at a plurality of dwell positions within the region of interest. The method also includes generating a schedule of dwell times for the tandem applicator based on the generated position-dependent thickness profile. The method also includes transmitting design instructions to a 3D printer for fabrication of the tandem applicator.

摘要： A process for separating components of a gas mixture using gas-separation copolymer membranes. These membranes use a selective layer made from copolymers of partially fluorinated or perfluorinated dioxolane monomers and a second monomer, such as dioxane or a partially fluorinated dioxolane. The resulting membranes have superior selectivity performance for gas pairs of interest while maintaining fast gas permeance compared to membranes prepared using conventional perfluoropolymers, such as Teflon® AF, Hyflon® AD, and Cytop®.
