摘要： PURPOSE:To attain the speed-up of the wire bonding operation and the facilitation of the control of the bonding load by a method wherein a movable coil available for conduction is freely mounted to a guide stem, and a bonding tool is mounted to this movable coil resulting in the constitution of a wire bonder. CONSTITUTION:When the fixed current is passed into the movable coil 8, the movable coil 8 moves upward along the guide stem 3 by the interaction between the magnetic field generating in the guide stem 3 and the current in a winding 8a. Inversely, when the current is reduced or broken, the movable coil 8 can be moved downward. Therefore, by the control of the current, the movable coil 8, i.e. a capillery 13 can be moved upward and downward, accordingly the bonding of the wire 15 is allowed. On the other hand, when the current is passed into a sub movable coil 10, the sub movable coil 10 moves downward by the magnetic field of the guide stem 3 and the current of a winding 10a. When moving downward, a movable clamp 17 deforms as the chain line and the top end thereof preses the wire to a fixed clamp 16 resulting the cutting of the wire after wire bonding.

The circuit A1 forms an output signal (a) of a high level only for an input analog signal exceeding the VH level, and the circuit A2 forms an output signal (b) of high level only for the input analog signal below the VL level.

摘要： PURPOSE:To eliminate a short circuit by forming a wire in a desirable arch shape, by automatically ajusting the curving start height of the wire of each junction distance. CONSTITUTION:At the time of a wire connection between two points, a tacho- generator is attached to a Z motor controlling the vertical movement of a capillary, and the output is integrated into a saw-tooth waveform; the waveform becomes the highest in voltage from the rise of a holding tool to the end of a one-cycle connection and is cleared at each cycle. On the other hand, the distance between two points to be connected is extracted as bit information by the X-Y movement distance register and the information is used as the address to read out PROM information. The read information is D/A-converted to compares voltage at respective points of saw-tooth wave 4 and a plane movement start signal is generated at the point in time of coincidence, so that the movement will start. As the connection interval is longer, the originating time is later. Therefore, adequate wire connection can be made at the fabrication of various devices only by changing PROMs, so that wire shorting can be prevented.

A voltage comparator circuit 4 compares the voltage signal Vi1 with reference voltages Vref1 to Vrefn each corresponding to a predetermined rotational angle to be identified and outputs position identifying signals Vo1 to Von.
