    • There is provided a culture medium for cultivating mushrooms whose material can be selected from a variety of woody materials and which can be transported in a compact form. There is also provided a method of cultivating mushrooms using such a culture medium in which pathogenic and other germs are less likely to breed and with which mushrooms can be cultivated in shorter periods. After adding nutrients such as rice and wheat brans, a mixture of dried sawdust and chip dust is heated at 150.degree.-500.degree. C. for 1-5 minutes under a pressure of 1.0-3.0 t/cm.sup.2 to form a cylindrical woody culture medium. The medium thus obtained is allowed to swell by adding water and then sterilized by sealing it in a bag. Mushroom fungi is then inoculated into it.

    • An electronic typewriter which provides for significant simplification of machine operations. The typewriter includes automatic error correcting function associated with electronic controls and a memory. A series of text data which have been deleted during an incessant error correcting operation are stored in a specially provided buffer memory from which they can be recalled upon depression of a print initiating key for causing the corresponding text to be printed automatically. An LED indicates that the current print line contains printed characters which can be erased by such automatic correcting operation. The typewriter further provides for simplified indentation and a novel carrier return mode.

    • Control mode switching determination is made as a part of a main loop (control period for overall control of an AC electric motor. When switching from the rectangular wave voltage control mode to PWM control mode is determined, the change in voltage phase of the rectangular wave voltage is inhibited from the timing of control mode switching determination until the next execution of the main loop until the timing at which the control mode is actually switched, to maintain voltage phase of the rectangular wave voltage at the time of control mode switching determination. Consequently, in a drive controller for an AC electric motor allowing switching between control modes, control mode can appropriately be switched without destabilizing the operation of the AC electric motor.

    • A control unit of a rotary electric machine control system includes a stationary switching module and a transitional switching module. The stationary switching module switches over a control mode from a rectangular wave voltage phase control mode to an overmodulation current control mode by using a current phase of a smoothed current produced by filtering of high harmonic components on an actual current in a stationary operation state. The transitional switching module switches the control mode from the rectangular wave voltage phase control mode to the overmodulation current control mode by using the current phase of the actual current in a transitional operation state. The control mode is switched over by comparing the current phase of the actual current with a transitional switching reference line, which is preset separately from a switching reference line used for comparison with a current phase of the smoothed current.

The head rest tilt mechanism drives the sub-frame so that the head rest body tilts forward while moving upward as the slide members are moved upward along the guide holes when the pressure receiving member is moved rearward.
