摘要： One embodiment of a hollow spinal spacer (10) includes a curved anterior wall (11) having opposite ends (12, 13), a posterior wall (15) having opposite ends (16, 17), two lateral walls (20, 21), each integrally connected between the opposite ends (12, 13, 16, 17) of the anterior (11) and posterior (15) walls to define a chamber (30). The walls (11, 15, 20, 21) include a superior face (35) and an inferior face (40). The superior face (35) defines a first opening (36) in communication with the chamber (30) and includes a first vertebral engaging surface (37). The inferior face (40) defines a second opening (41) in communication with the chamber (30) and includes a second vertebral engaging surface (42).

摘要： Devices and methods to restore the disc height between adjacent vertebral members. The methods use a variety of different spacers that are each positionable between a first orientation having a reduced height and a second orientation having an enlarged height. The spacer is initially placed within the disc space in the first orientation. The spacer is then expanded to the second enlarged orientation to restore the disc height. While the spacer is expanded or while it is expanding, the material is inserted into the disc space. In one embodiment, the material is initially in a first flowable form that fills the disc space. After the material is inserted, it becomes more viscous to support the vertebral members. At this time, the spacer is returned to the first orientation and removed from the disc space. The material remains within the disc space to permanently maintain the disc height.

The system further comprises a processor communicatively coupled to the memory and operable to receive from a counterparty trader a counterorder for the trading product. The processor is further operable to use the counterorder to fill the display portion of the first trading order. The processor is further operable to use the counterorder to fill the display portion of the second trading order. After filling the display portion of the second trading order, the processor is further operable to exclusively offer at least a portion of the counterorder to the first trader for a configurable period of time.

If the received trading order is an aggressive trading order, the processor is further operable to calculate a decrease of the trade credit. If subtracting the calculated decrease from the trade credit would not cause the trade credit to be less than a configurable threshold, the processor is further operable to submit the received trading order for execution and subtract the calculated decrease from the trade credit. If subtracting the calculated decrease from the trade credit would cause the trade credit to be less than the configurable threshold, the processor is further operable to prevent the execution of the received trading order.

摘要： Systems and methods of trading items on an electronic trading system according to the invention are provided. The embodiments of the invention are based at least in part on a new order type. The new order type is a modification of a conventional good-until bettered order type. A good-until-bettered bid/offer is received along with instructions that specify a good-until-bettered increment value and/or duration. The good-until-bettered order is maintained in the electronic trading system until a bid/offer that is better by the specified plurality of standard trading increments is received by the electronic trading system and/or remains in the system for the good-until-bettered duration.
