摘要： A thermosetting composition comprises (A) a compound having in the molecule two or more carboxyl groups blocked by a vinyl ether compound, a vinyl thioether compound or a hetero compound having a vinyl type double bond and oxygen or sulfur as the hetero atom, (B) a compound having in the molecule two or more reactive functional groups which can form chemical bonds with the blocked carboxyl groups, and (C) a dispersing component of at least one inorganic oxide sol selected from the group consisting of aluminium oxide sol, silica sol, zirconium oxide sol and antimony oxide sol, and optionally (D) a thermal latent acid catalyst which is activated during curing the composition by heating. A method of coating and a coated article comprise applying the composition. The obtained paint film has excellent weathering resistance, stain resistance, stain-removing property, chemical resistance, moisture resistance and excellent appearance.

摘要： A thermosetting composition which comprises:(D) a self-crosslinking compound having in the molecule (a) one or more functional groups of the formula (2): ##STR1## wherein R.sup.5, R.sup.6 and R.sup.7 are each hydrogen or an organic group of 1 to 18 carbons, R.sup.8 is an organic group of 1 to 18 carbons, Y.sup.2 is oxygen or sulfur, or R.sup.7 and R.sup.8 are bonded with each other to form a heterocyclic structure which comprises Y.sup.2 as the heteroatom component; and (b) one or more reactive functional groups which can form a chemical bond with carboxyl functional groups which are regenerated from (a) by heating; (C) optionally, a thermal latent acid catalyst which is activated during curing of the composition by heating; (A) optionally, a compound having in the molecule two or more functional groups of the formula (1): ##STR2## wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are each hydrogen or an organic group of 1 to 18 carbons, R.sup.4 is an organic group of 1 to 18 carbons, Y.sup.1 is oxygen or sulfur, or R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are bonded with each other to form a heterocyclic structure which comprises Y.sup.1 as the heteroatom component; and/or, (B) optionally, a compound having in the molecule two or more reactive functional groups which can form a chemical bond by heating with either one or both of the functional group of the formula (1) and the functional group of the formula (2).

摘要： Thermosetting composition comprises a compound having in the molecule two or more carboxyl groups blocked by a vinyl ether compound, a vinyl thioether compound or a hetero compound having a vinyl type double bond and oxygen or sulfur as the hetero atom, a compound having two or more reactive functional groups which can form a chemical bond with the blocked carboxyl compound by heating, a specific vinyl ether or vinyl thioether and a thermal latent acid catalyst. The blocked carboxyl group of the first compound and the reactive functional group of the second compound may be comprised in the same molecule. The thermosetting composition gives cured products having excellent chemical properties, physical properties, weathering resistance and storage stability and is advantageously utilized for coating compositions, ink, adhesive and molded plastics.

摘要： A polymer comprising fluoroalkyl group has a structure in which one or two parts of the fluoroalkyl group at the one or both ends of the molecule are linked to a part of alkylene groups or alkylene groups substituted with halogen, a part of alkylene group substituted with functional groups, such as halogen, cyano group, alkylsulfonic acid group, amidoalkylsulfonic acid group, carboxylic acid group, carboxyl group, oxycarbonyl group, ether group, epoxy group and the like, and/or a part of silicone group. A method of preparation of the polymer comprising fluoroalkyl group contains reaction of a fluoroalkanoyl peroxide with a monomer comprising the functional group or a monomer comprising silicone group. A surface active agent comprises fluoroalkyl group and caroxylic acid salt group. A surface treatment agent comprises the polymer comprising fluoroalkyl group, hydrolysis products thereof, hydrolytic condensation products thereof, and mixtures thereof. A coating composition comprises the polymer comprising fluoroalkyl group. The polymer comprising fluoroalkyl group has excellent water repellency, oil repellency and weatherability because the fluoroalkyl group is introduced into the molecule through carbon-carbon linkage.
