    • A method of driving a plasma display. Generally speaking, one frame comprises several sub-frames, each of which is displayed by one reset operation, one scan operation and a sustain operation in this driving method, the screen of the plasma display is first divided into a plurality of sub-regions. Then the controller sequentially performs the reset operation, the scanning operation and the sustain operation on these sub-regions. In the driving process, the sustain operation on one of the sub-regions is synchronized with the scan operation of another one of the sub-regions that is subsequently processed, thereby increasing the period of the sustain operation. In addition, the reset operation on one of the sub-regions does not overlap the scan operations and the sustain operations on others sub-regions for preventing signal interference.

    • A three-dimensional display includes a first display module, a second display module, a light-combining module and a view-scanning layer. The first display module provides a first display image. The second display module provides a second display image. The light-combining module is disposed in a first transmission path of the first display image and a second transmission path of the second display image. The first transmission path and the second transmission path after the first light-combining module have the same direction. The view-scanning layer receives the first display image transmitted along the first transmission path and the second display image transmitted along the second transmission path and respectively projects a part of the first display image and a part of the second display image onto a first view direction and a second view direction.

    • A driving apparatus for driving a plasma display panel and a method of driving the same are disclosed. The plasma display panel includes multiple display cells, with each of the display cells comprising a sustain electrode, a scan electrode, and a data electrode. Every set of the electrodes has a corresponding driving circuit to provide a required driving waveform for driving the display cell to luminesce. The driving method includes the following steps: first, a first erase pulse, a priming pulse, and a second erase pulse are applied in sequence during a reset period. Then, data pulses corresponding to the display cells are applied during an address period. Lastly, multiple sustain pulses and multiple high frequency driving pulses are applied simultaneously during a sustain period.

    • A method for compensating luminance, suitable for use in a plasma display panel. The method includes the following steps. First, the luminance value of each pixel signal is read out. Then, the load of the pixel signal row is computed. The load is the number of pixel signal in the pixel signal row that the luminance value of the pixel signal is larger than a predetermined threshold luminance value. Then, a primary luminance compensation value is decided according to the load of the pixel signal row. A number of secondary luminance compensation values are decided according to the primary luminance compensation value. Afterwards, each pixel signal in the pixel signal row is performed luminance compensation sequentially. If the luminance value is larger than or equal to a low threshold luminance value, the luminance value is subtracted by the primary luminance compensation value. If the luminance value is less than the low threshold luminance value, the luminance value is subtracted by the corresponding secondary luminance compensation value. Finally, the compensated pixel signal row is outputted.
