SOLUTION: This vehicular resilient strut having a level adjustment means has a work cylinder 22 and a damping (cushion) piston 17 is internally coupled to the work cylinder 22. Also, a low pressure chamber 2 of ring shape with a part filled with oil and others with gas is provided so as to surround the work cylinder 22. The edge side of the work cylinder 22 is formed as a high pressure chamber 1 and a separation piston 26 is internally coupled to the high pressure chamber 1. The low pressure chamber 2 is communicated to the work chamber 4 via an exhaust port 12, an inlet valve 8, an outlet valve 9 and a bypass 10, and the work chamber 4 is communicated to a lower work chamber 6 via a damping valve 5. A vehicle body is lifted by increasing pressure in the work chambers 4 and 6 on the operation of a pressure generator 18.
