The control signal generator, the foot-operated actuator, and a power source are secured to a base adapted to rest on a floor of a dentist's office.

摘要： A kick-down element for a vehicle, complete with a housing, an actuator that is fastened in the housing such that it can be moved axially and a force surge element that can be moved axially in the actuator and which is axially loaded by an elastic element. There is a plate-shaped protruding part on at least one housing panel, which runs perpendicular to the movement direction and the upper end of which runs diagonally downward. The force step element interacts with at least one roller, which is located between the protruding part and a wedgeshaped (9) of the force surge element in a resting position. The kick-down element is intended to allow for a relatively long travel path for the actuator in the most compact design possible. This is achieved by keeping the roller attached to a lower end of the actuator.

摘要： A multidirectional foot controller includes a base, a first platform, a second platform, and two pedals successively stacked and assembled together. The multidirectional foot controller is activated by having the two pedals depressed simultaneously, and then controls an externally connected endoscope to move forward or backward by a first platform, or controls the endoscope to move leftward or rightward by a second platform. By having only one of the pedals depressed, the multidirectional foot controller can change the field of view of the endoscope.

摘要： The present invention provides a foot-operable computer input control device that enables a computer user to utilize their feet to control or interact with a computer game or software application. The device includes at least two bi-directional roller elements each providing a surface on which the user's foot can be placed. Linking means, e.g., a mechanical clutch, is provided to transfer rotational motion of one roller element to another roller element thereby creating a variable dynamic linkage. The rotational motion of the roller elements is detected by detection means such as an optical encoder and this results in the generation and sending of an output signal from signal output means to a computer input.
