摘要： A method of microdissection which involves: forming an image field of cells of the tissue sample utilizing a microscope, identifying at least one zone of cells of interest from the image field of cells which at least one zone of cells of interest includes different types of cells than adjacent zones of cells, and extracting the at least one zone of cells of interest from the tissue sample. The extraction is achieved by contacting the tissue sample with a transfer surface that can be selectively activated so that regions thereof adhere to the zone of cells of interest to be extracted. The transfer surface includes a selectively activatable adhesive layer which provides, for example, chemical or electrostatic adherence to the selected regions of the tissue sample. After the transfer surface is activated the transfer surface and tissue sample are separated. During separation the zone of cells of interest remains adhered to the transfer surface and is thus separated from the tissue sample and may be molecularly analyzed.

摘要： A method of determining a depth of intergranular attack (IGA) on a surface (16b) of a metal part includes applying a replicating material on a second surface (16a) of the part that is essentially perpendicular to and intersects with the surface of interest. The replicating material is used to create an inverted replica of the microstructure of the second surface. Lengths of the cracks replicated on the replicating material are measured in order to determine the depth of intergranular attack on the surface of the part. 摘要： This invention is related to a method and a moulding device (100) for making a cast of a surface. The moulding device comprises a first moulding chamber part (30), which is adapted to be placed adjacent the surface and to form a moulding chamber (16) together with the surface. Moulding material can be introduced into the moulding chamber via an inlet (9), and one or more outlets (20, 21) serves to drain the moulding chamber from any entrapped liquid or gas. Further, at least one test pece (17) with surface defects, having well-known characteristics is provided in the moulding device for making at least one imprint on said cast surface. Hereby, a quality test of said cast can be performed.
