    • Embodiments of the present invention provide a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) panel, including an upper substrate and a lower substrate between which a liquid crystal layer is sealed. The lower substrate includes a plurality of sub-pixel regions arranged in regular patterns. The upper substrate includes Black Matrixes (BM) and an upper transparent conductive layer which are formed in sequence on the bottom surface of an upper transparent substrate. The lower substrate includes a first metal layer, a dielectric layer, a second metal layer, an organic layer, a first insulation layer, a third metal layer, a second insulation layer, a fourth metal layer, a passivation layer and a lower transparent conductive layer which are deposited in sequence on the upper surface of a lower transparent substrate. Embodiments of the present invention also provide a method for producing the LCD panel.

    • A thin film transistor array substrate comprises a transparent substrate, and scanning lines, data lines and pixel regions that are formed on the transparent substrate. Each pixel region comprises a pixel electrode, a thin film transistor for controlling the pixel electrode, a first push alignment electrode and a second push alignment electrode. Projections of the first and second push alignment electrodes on the transparent substrate are located on two opposite sides of the pixel electrode. The pixel electrode is covered with an insulation layer and the insulation layer is provided with a pull alignment opening. When the thin film transistor array substrate is in operation, an oblique pull electric field is formed at the pull alignment opening, and transverse push electric fields are formed between the first push alignment electrode and the pixel electrode as well as between the second push alignment electrode and the pixel electrode, respectively.

    • An array substrate for a liquid crystal display, a liquid crystal display comprising the array substrate, and a mother glass from which the array substrate is cut off, are provided. The array substrate comprises a plurality of scan lines; a plurality of data lines crossing with the plurality of scan lines; and a common electrode bus, wherein each of the array substrate further comprises a shorting bar which transmits the same signal as a signal that the common electrode bus transmits during operation of the corresponding liquid crystal display. The invention both improves the utilization of a mother glass and allows testing the data lines and/or scan lines with shorting bars.

    • The present invention provides a liquid crystal display and an array substrate thereof. The array substrate comprises scan lines, data lines and a plurality of pixel defined by a crosswise arrangement of the scan lines and the data lines. The pixel comprises a first sub-pixel electrode; a second sub-pixel electrode electrically isolated from the first sub-pixel electrode; a first switching element for controlling the first sub-pixel electrode; and a second switching element for controlling the second sub-pixel electrode. When the control of the first sub-pixel electrode by the first switching element cannot be carried out normally, the second switching element can control at least a part of the first sub-pixel electrode in place of the first switching element.
