A third module regulates operation of the automatic transmission based on the modified upshift and downshift lines.

摘要： A ronguer or the like is formed with a pistol-shaped main frame assembly having a hollow, tubular cutting element releasably clamped at the forward end of the barrel of the frame. A rod slidably received in the barrel projects beyond the front end of the cutting element and has a rearwardly facing shoulder which can be drawn into the cutting element to shear bone or other material engaged between the shoulder and sharpened forward edge of the cutting element. The rod member may be selectively located in any of four rotative orientations for up-cutting, down-cutting or side-cutting from either side. The device is readily disassembled for cleaning and sterilization.

摘要： A single-use, consumable diagnostic cartridge and method of performing a diagnostic test are provided. The cartridge has a sample inlet opening, an inlet port, a sample receiving chamber, an analysis chamber and a fluid channel extending between the sample receiving chamber and analysis chamber. A rupturable blister contains a fluid for selective mixing with a sample selectively disposed in the sample receiving chamber. A valve member, having a sample through port and a fluid passage, is selectively moveable between closed and open states. In the closed state, the fluid passage is out of fluid communication with the sample, and the sample through port is registered with the sample inlet opening and the sample receiving chamber. In the open state, the fluid passage extends between the inlet port and the sample receiving chamber to allow fluid dispelled from the blister to transport the sample to the analysis chamber.

摘要： A mechanical actuator system for performing an assay on a disposable diagnostic cartridge having a plurality of fluid-containing blisters includes a body configured to carry the disposable diagnostic cartridge in stationary relation thereon. A lead screw is operably supported by the body and a drive motor is operably connected to the lead screw. A carriage is threadedly coupled to the lead screw, with the carriage having upper and lower wall spaced from one another. A roller is operably carried by the upper wall of the carriage. The roller is spaced from the lower wall for passage of the diagnostic cartridge between the roller and the lower wall. A driven gear is operably coupled to the roller in meshed engagement with the lead screw. Actuation of the drive motor causes the lead screw to rotate, thereby translating the carriage along the lead screw and concurrently causing the driven gear to rotate the roller.

摘要： A portable, disposable in-vitro diagnostic apparatus and method of performing a point-of-care invitro-diagnostic test is provided. The apparatus has a body with at least one chamber containing an actuator member. The chamber is in fluid communication with an upstream first fluid channel and a downstream second fluid channel. The actuator member has a compressed, deactivated state and an expanded, activated state. The actuator member transitions from the compressed, deactivated state to the expanded, activated state upon contact with fluid flowing through the first fluid channel. The actuator member pumps fluid outwardly from the first chamber through the second fluid channel during the transition from its compressed, deactivated state to its expanded, activated state. The pumped fluid can be channeled to other chambers within the body and/or to an analysis chamber within the body for study.
