摘要： There is proposed a mechanism for controlling a discovery of small cells or secondary cells located in a macro cell or primary cell. An eNB signals to a UE located in a primary cell area configuration data related to a physical discovery channel used for transmission of discovery signals in one or more secondary cells. The configuration data comprises a unique Scell ID for each secondary cell, an indication of communication resources used for the physical discovery channel, and information indicating a mapping between the indicated communication resources and the unique ID of each secondary cell for atfocating each unique ID to a specific communication resource. The UE detects for discovery signals on the basis of the information included in the configuration data.

摘要： A method to handle broken DL CC in an unlicensed band is described. The method includes determining a search space of PDCCH candidate CCEs. The search space includes a subset of CCE in a plurality of CCs in an unlicensed band. The method also includes detecting in at least one PDCCH candidate CCE in the search space whether the at least one PDCCH candidate CCE carries a DCI transmission. In response to not detecting a DCI transmission, the method includes detecting in at least one other PDCCH candidate CCE in the search space whether the at least one other PDCCH candidate CCE carries at least one DCI transmission. The method also includes, in response to detecting a DCI transmission, receiving, from an access point, the at least one DCI transmission. Apparatus and computer readable media are also described.

In the examples the range gives low and high thresholds for reference signal received power or quality. In one embodiment the network needs to confirm prior to the UE using a next measurement gap for measuring that neighbor cell; in another the UE enters the gap autonomously if the network previously configured the UE for autonomous operation.

摘要： A process, apparatus, and computer program product for enhancing coverage enhancement for network node signals targeted to machine type communication (MTC) devices such as automated wireless meters for water, electric and gas usage measurement. Two enhanced master information block (MIB) formats are defined. A first format contains all critical system information for common user equipment (UE) while the second format contains the critical system information plus the system information specific to MTC users. The second format provides sufficient system information necessary for MTC user equipment to initialize random access channel procedure. UE determines the eMIB format based on the detected primary synchronization signal/secondary synchronization signal (PSS/SSS) scheme and decodes the eMIB accordingly.
