摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save fuel for second combustion by using effectively the sensible heat of exhaust gas by arranging an alternate combustion type heat accumulating burner 3 to a secondary combustion chamber of the exhaust gas at the outlet of an incinerator. SOLUTION: An alternate combustion type heat-accumulating burner 3 is arranged to the secondary combustion chamber 2 of the exhaust gas of a rotary kiln type garbage incinerator 1. The secondary combustion chamber 2 is a vertical type and the exhaust gas introducing part 4 of the incinerating furnace exhaust gas is connected to the lower part of it, a straightening vane 5 is arranged to the middle part of it and an exhausting part 6 of secondary combustion gas is connected to the upper part of it. A pair of heat accumulating burners 3 are under the exhausting part 6 and arranged so that the generated combustion gas flows involved with straightening vane 5. High temperature combustion gas generated by the heat accumulating burners 3 turns around the straightening vane 5 and is mixed with incinerator exhaust gas taken in from the under part and form the secondary combustion gas of approximately 1,000 deg.C. The secondary combustion gas rises inside a secondary combustion chamber 2, most of it is discharged through a discharging part 6 and sent to a downstream gas cooler.

Then, the cooling water velocity is rapidly reduced in expanding area on the downstream side and the cooling water is spreaded and jetted against the hot rolled steel sheet. At this time, the jetting patterns of cooling water from two nozzle bodies 12, 12a are uniformized in a relatively wide range.

In this way, the heat transfer coefficient from the steel strip to cooling water becomes and temp. controllability is improved.
