摘要： An inked sheet cassette suitable for use in printer such as a multi-color thermal transfer-type printer. The cassette has a cassette case encasing an inked sheet constituted by a thin web-like film or paper sheet with at least one type of ink applied thereto, and a pair of reels disposed in the cassette case and constituting a supply reel and a take-up reel on which are wound the respective ends of the inked sheet. The cassette has a window provided at least in one of a portion of said cassette case adjacent to the supply reel and portion adjacent to said take-up reel so as to enable the user to visually check the diameter of the roll of the inked sheet on the reel adjacent to said window. Disclosed also is a printer suitable for use in combination with this cassette.

摘要： A projection type display apparatus includes a housing having a first side on which an air intake opening is arranged and a second side on which an air exhaust opening is arranged, a light source for supplying light, and a light valve device which modulates the light output from the light source. A first fan is provided which draws air from the air intake opening into the housing, and a first ventilation path is coupled with the air intake opening so as to lead air flow from the air intake opening toward a lower portion of the light valve. A second ventilation path is formed from the lower portion of the light valve to an upper portion of the light valve, and a second fan is provided which draws out air flowing from the second ventilation path through the air exhaust opening to outside of the housing.

A first cooling fan is provided which causes an air flow in the outer space. A least one of the optical elements forms a part of the partition wall, and the air flow cools the at least one reflecting type light valve from the outer space.

摘要： A projection type image display device superior in reliability and also superior in both repairability and maintainability is to be provided at a low cost. Support members disposed between liquid crystal panels and a prism are made of a thermoplastic polymer material, and the liquid crystal panels and the support members are fixed to each other by heat-fusion of the support members. When it is necessary to remove a liquid crystal panel which is at fault for example from the corresponding support member, the fused portion on the support member side which less expensive is cut off, thereby permitting the liquid crystal panel which is expensive to be taken out re-utilizably without any damage thereto.
