摘要： A switching regulator for controlling an output voltage by a pulse width of a switching element such as a transistor and the like at a primary side of the switching regulator. The switching regulator is provided with a feedback element which converts an output voltage at a secondary side into a feedback current, and controls an amount of charge of a capacitor (C3) to control a time for which the transistor (Q1) is kept on at the primary side and an amount of charge of a speed-up capacitor (C2) at the primary side. When a small load is imposed, an excessive increase in the output voltage can be prevented by controlling an amount of charge on the capacitor (3) to control the keeping-on-time and an amount of charge of the speed-up capacitor (C2) at the primary side. This also shortens the time for which the transistor (Q1) at the primary side is kept on.

摘要： A disk drive housing structure has a rotating disk for recording information and a transducer adapted to write and read information on and from the disk. The structure further includes a positioning system having at least an arm to which the transducer is fixed and which is adapted to selectively position the transducer along the radial direction of the disk transducer by turning the arm. The structure also includes a member on which the disk, transducer and positioning system are mounted, wherein the mounting member includes a first housing which supports thereon both ends of a rotary shaft of the recording medium and both ends of a rotary shaft of the positioning system, and which has a first aperture part. The first housing further includes a second aperture part through which the disk and the rotary shaft supporting the disk are inserted and to which a supporting member for the rotary shaft of the recording medium is fixed.

A post processing apparatus receives a printed recording medium and executes post processing on a side of the recording medium. A feeding source of the maximum size recording medium is selected from the feeder and the sub feeder for executing the post processing on the longer and shorter sides of the maximum size recording medium, respectively.

摘要： Multi-layer printed wiring boards may be produced by: (1) conveying an adhesive sheet from an adhesive sheet roll wherein an adhesive sheet having a prepreg formed on a support film is wound in a roll and placing the adhesive sheet such that a prepreg surface contacts one or both of the surfaces of a circuit board, (2) partially adhering the adhesive sheet to the circuit board by heating and pressing a part of the adhesive sheet from the support film side, and cutting the adhesive sheet according to the size of the circuit board with a cutter, (3) heating and pressing the temporarily fitted adhesive sheet under reduced pressure to laminate the adhesive sheet on the circuit board, (4) forming an insulating layer by thermally curing the prepreg, and (5) detaching the support film after the thermal curing step.

The second fine actuator, to which a magnetic head is attached, is mounted on the first fine actuator. 摘要： Embodiments of the present invention help to reduce out-of-plane excitation force exerted on a coil in a voice coil motor of a magnetic disk drive, so that vibration of a magnetic head is suppressed. According to one embodiment, a voice coil motor has a flat magnet that faces a coil, and generates a magnetic field, and yokes that apply the magnetic field generated by the magnet to the coil. The magnet is provided with a magnetic flux guiding section, absorbing leakage flux from the magnet, on a most distal end of the magnet as viewed from a pivot axis. A most distal part of the coil as viewed from the pivot axis, may be situated in an outer side with respect to the most distal end of the magnet, and the magnetic flux guiding section is provided between the most distal end of the magnet and the most distal part of the coil.
