摘要： An apparatus for use in manufacturing a semiconductor device allows one or more substrates treated substantially free of the metal particles released from the chamber wall and the high energy particles emitted from the plasma and also allows them to uniformly heated to a relatively high temperature. The apparatus comprises a reaction chamber wherein one or more substrates to be treated are disposed, a plasma source arranged outside of and in proximity to the reaction chamber, an active species supply port for providing active species generated by the plasma source to the reaction chamber and arranged at a side of the reaction chamber and an exhaust port provided at the opposite side to the active species supply port. The active species flows parallel to the surfaces of the substrates.

摘要： A method and apparatus for producing a semiconductor device can provide a uniform film on a substrate. A substrate is introduced into a reaction chamber or tube (51) which has gas feed ports (52, 53) and gas exhaust ports (54, 55). The substrate in the reaction tube (51) is heated to substantially a film forming temperature while supplying a prescribed gas to the reaction tube (51) through the gas feed ports (52, 53) and exhausting the prescribed gas from the reaction tube (51) through all the exhaust ports (54, 55). A film-forming gas is supplied to the reaction tube (51) to form a film on the substrate. The substrate with the film formed thereon is taken out of the reaction tube (51). Moreover, after the film formation on the substrate, a prescribed gas is supplied to the reaction tube (51) from the gas feed ports (52, 53) while being exhausted from the reaction tube (51) through all the exhaust ports (54, 55), thereby removing a residual gas in the reaction tube.

摘要： The present invention relates to an image processing apparatus and a method of forming an image by separating color information into two or more color information items. The boundary of images is compensated, the images being the images formed by an analog recording system for forming an image on a recording medium by removing a predetermined color component from an original document image and a digital recording system for forming an image on said recording medium by extracting a predetermined color component from said original document image. Therefore, if a slight positional deviation takes place between images formed by the analog recording system and the digital recording system, a want of color information can be prevented. Therefore, the deviation can be satisfactorily compensated so that an original image can be correctly reproduced.

摘要： An image forming apparatus includes a reading unit for reading an original image, and a recording unit for recording an image. A control unit is also provided which controls the relative timing between the operations of the reading unit and the recording unit. The operation of the control unit enables the apparatus to perform a reading operation in a first mode, in which the reading unit reads an original image without the recording unit performing a recording operation, in parallel with a recording operation in a second mode, in which a different original image, read by the reading unit, is recorded by the recording unit, such that vibrations caused by either the reading operation in the first mode or the recording operation in the second mode do not affect the other operation. As a result of the structure of the apparatus, an advantageous feature can be attained in which the timing of a writing operation is controlled in accordance with the movement of the reading scanner.
