Thereupon, an object 37 to be treated is put in a device 1, and after the inside of the device is deaerated, for example, gaseous Ar is packed to prescribed pressure therein through a supply pipe 13 for pressure medium and the object to be treated is subjected to high temp. treatments higher than 2,000 deg.C.

    • PURPOSE:To forge easily spiral parts having good shape and quality by allowing the lubricant forced into the spacing between the blank material in a die and the die to remain in the die under a specified pressure until the forging is completed. CONSTITUTION:A blank material A is set in a die 5 and is pressed with a punch 4. A lubricant B is fed under the prescribed pressure in the spacing between the die 5 and the material A through a lubricant passage 7 by a lubricant feeder 6 at the point of the time when the material A is filled in the die 5. When the pressurization on the punch 4 is continued, the material A is smoothly fitted to the die 5 by the lubricant B and is easily molded. On the other hand, the lubricant B is escaped through a relief valve 10 into a tank 11 upon pressurizing of the punch 4 so that the pressure of the lubricant B in the die 4 can be maintained constant. The remaining lubricant B forces upward the molded part by its pressure and a knock-out 12 upon completion of the molding thereby parting the molded part from the die. Said lubricant acts also to lubricate the molded spiral vane surface.

    • PURPOSE:To forge easily and inexpensively spiral parts by forging a blank material to the spiral parts then changing the temp. of dies to form a clearance between the dies and the molded parts and parting the molded parts from the dies while rotating the same. CONSTITUTION:A die 10 and a punch 11 which are forging dies are formed of a material which forms molding dies having a prescribed size at a molding temp. and has the coefft. of linear expansion smaller than that of a desired molded part 12 in the stage of forging a molded part having a spiral part around the central axis. A blank material is put into said die 10 and after the material is heated to the molding temp., the punch 11 is forced into the die to forge the material. The punch 11 is then drawn and the die 10 and the molded part 12 are cooled. A high pressure fluid P such as air is acted in the clearance 8 between the die 10 and the part 12 generated by the dimensional shrinkage that arises on cooling so that the part 12 is floated from the die 10. Such part 12 is pulled from the die while the part is rotated around its axis and the parting of the part from the die is thus easily completed.
