    • An input/output controller apparatus has a CPU arranged for directing an FPGA to generate a desired trace logic circuit and a channel controller to start communication with a host system. The channel controller while performing the communication with the host system delivers a channel sequence number via a buffer to the FPGA. In response, the FPGA saves the channel interface signal and the channel sequence number at given timing. When an error occurs during the communication, the CPU identifies the cause of the error by reviewing the channel interface signal and the channel sequence number saved in the FPGA. If the cause of the error fails to be identified, the FPGA is directed to generate another trace logic circuit suited for identifying the cause of the error. Accordingly, the size of a data storage used for tracing will be minimized and the overall area for installation of the apparatus will be minimized comparatively as well as the duration required for examining the communication between the host system and its peripherals will be reduced considerably. The apparatus may be linked to a plurality of host systems for equal advantages.

    • The low-operating-force connector consists of a pair of female and male housings. The male housing has on the opposite sides driven pins, while the female housing has pin guide grooves for the driven pins. A cam member is rotatably mounted on the female housing, which consists of levers each including a cam groove and a lever handle connecting the levers. The housings are fitted with or separated from each other through rotation of the cam member. A pair of resilient locking pieces are provided on the outer periphery of the male housing, the locking pieces each including an engagement projection, while a corresponding pair of engagement portions are provided on the lever handle. Springs are so provided between the levers of the cam member and the female housing as to urge the cam member into an upright opened position. On completion of the coupling of the female and male housings, the cam member is locked by the engagement between the engagement projections and portions. When the engagement projections and portions are disengaged, the cam member is opened by the resilient action of the springs up to a starting position for separating the housings.

    • An electrical junction box has a fitting member for securing the junction box to a vehicle body. The fitting member has a breakdown accelerating portion for enhancing breakdown of the fitting member when the junction box is pulled to remove it from the vehicle body. The breakdown accelerating portion is positioned in a base side of the fitting piece. By a transverse force caused by pulling an associated wiring harness, the breakdown accelerating portion initiates breakdown of a bracket to separate the junction box from the bracket. Another fitting device has a fitting member formed on a junction box for securing the junction box to a vehicle body. The fitting member has a slot for enhancing breakdown of the fitting member when the junction box is pulled to remove the junction box from the vehicle body, and the fitting member has a compensating piece removably inserted into the slot for adjusting the breakdown of the fitting member.

    • A first connector housing is provided with a flexible lock arm. A tubular fitting detector is fitted to an outer periphery of the first connector housing while being slidable thereon between a first position and a second position.
