    • A magnet magnetizing system and a superconducting magnet to be magnetized, for magnetizing a superconducting magnet to be magnetized, comprises: a magnetizing magnetic field generating means for generating and distinguishing a static magnetic field; a cooling means having an electromotive motor within the static magnetic field, which is generated from the magnetizing magnet generating means; and a bulk superconductor to be magnetized, which is thermally connected with a low-temperature portion of the cooling means, wherein the magnetizing magnetic field generating means is made up with a magnetizing superconducting bulk magnet, building other magnetizing bulk superconductor therein, the bulk superconductor to be magnetized before magnetization thereof is inserted within a space of the static magnetic field, which is generated by the magnetizing superconducting bulk magnet magnetized, and the magnetic field of the magnetizing superconducting bulk magnet is distinguished by the means for cooling the bulk superconductor inserted, down to be equal or lower than superconducting temperature, thereby magnetizing the bulk superconductor to be magnetized.

    • A liquid crystal composition is provided that satisfies at least one characteristic among the characteristics such as a high maximum temperature of a nematic phase, a low minimum temperature of a nematic phase, a small viscosity, a large optical anisotropy, a large dielectric anisotropy, a large specific resistance, a high stability to ultraviolet light and a high stability to heat, or is properly balanced regarding at least two characteristics. An AM device is provided that has a short response time, a large voltage holding ratio, a large contrast ratio, a long service life and so forth. The liquid crystal composition having a nematic phase contains a specific five-ring compound having a large maximum temperature as the first component, a specific compound having a small viscosity as the second component, and a specific four-ring compound having a high maximum temperature as the third component. The liquid crystal display device contains the liquid crystal composition.

    • A printing apparatus includes a first circulation pump which is provided in a channel between a print head and a first storage tank and which supplies ink from a second storage tank to the print head. The printing apparatus further includes a second circulation pump which is provided in a channel between the first storage tank and the second storage tank which supplies ink from the first storage tank to the second storage tank. The printing apparatus further includes a control unit which controls the driving of the first circulation pump and second circulation pump, and a detecting unit which detects the amount of ink stored in the second storage tank.
