    • An electric fan includes a fan base (10), a bearing (40) and a rotor assembly (20). The fan base forms a central tube (11) receiving the bearing therein. The rotor assembly includes a fan hub (22), and a pivot axle (23) joined to the fan hub. The pivot axle pivotably extends into the bearing. A first and second locking rings (50, 70) are received in the central tube. Each of the first and second locking rings defines a central bore (52) therein. The pivot axle is engaged in the central bores of the first and second locking rings. The first locking ring is located at a top of the bearing and the second locking ring is located at a bottom of the bearing to prevent the rotor assembly from escaping from the bearing when the fan is operated.

    • A heat dissipation device includes a heat sink, a retention module and a clip having two clipping portions for securing the heat sink to the retention module. The heat sink includes a base for contacting with a heat generating electronic device. The base defines two flutes in two opposite sides thereof respectively. Each of the flutes is located at a middle of a corresponding one of the two opposite sides. The retention module is located around the electronic device and includes a bottom wall for supporting the heat sink. Each clipping portion is rotatablely connected to the retention module and includes a pressing portion which is rotatablely received in the flute of the base and presses the base to the bottom wall of the retention module when the clip is rotated to a position locked to the retention module.

    • A heat dissipation device includes a first heat sink (10), a second heat sink (20) and four heat pipes (30) thermally connecting the first heat sink and second heat sink. The first heat sink comprises a plurality of first heat dissipation fins (14) and the second heat sink comprises a plurality of second heat dissipation fins (24). Each heat pipe comprises an evaporating portion (32) and a condensing portion (34). The evaporating portions of the other two heat pipes thermally engage in a base of the second heat sink and the condensing portions thereof connect the second and first heat dissipation fins.

    • A clip for heat sink comprises an inverted T-shaped retaining member and an L-shaped operation member pivotably connected to the retaining member. The retaining member has a detaining portion defining several openings and a connecting portion extending from the detaining portion. The operation member has a press portion for bearing against the heat sink and a holding portion for being grasped extending from the press portion. The operation member is capable of being driven to rotate from a first position to a second position to cause the detaining portion to interlock with a retention module provided on a printed circuit board, thereby securing the heat sink to an electronic element package on the printed circuit board.

    • A heat sink clip assembly is for attaching a heat sink (10) to a motherboard (60). The motherboard and the heat sink each respectively define through apertures (52) and through holes (16) therein. The heat sink clip assembly includes four sleeves (46), four posts (38), four fasteners (41), and four spring members (44). Each sleeve comprises a top section and a bottom section. The top sections of the sleeves engage in the through holes respectively to attach the sleeves to the heat sink. The posts extend through the through apertures and received in the bottom sections of the sleeves. Each fastener includes a top head and a bottom end, the bottom ends extend into the sleeves and coupled to the top portions of the posts. The spring members are compressed between the top heads of the fasteners and the heat sink urging the heat sink toward the motherboard.

    • A retainer (20) for a heat sink includes a supporting member (22), a bracket member (24), a pair of locking members (26) and an operating member (28). The supporting member defines a pair of openings (222) at opposite ends thereof. The bracket member is located above the supporting member and has a pair of abutting portions (246) extending therefrom. The locking members respectively pass through the openings of the supporting member and are pivotably attached to the bracket member. Each locking member has a spring portion (264) depressed on one of said abutting portions to maintain the locking member at a releasing position. The operating member is pivotable relative to the bracket member to cause the bracket member and the associated locking members to move upward and the supporting member to drive the locking members to turn toward each other to a locking position.
