    • Each of a plurality of electronic control units (i.e., ECUs) of a vehicle control system has a memory for recording data regarding a system operation condition of the vehicle control system. When one of the ECUs detects an occurrence of a predetermined abnormal event, that ECU records data regarding the system operation condition of the vehicle control system, which is held by that ECU, in the memory of that ECU. Further, the detecting ECU notifies the other ECUs of the occurrence of the predetermined abnormal event. Accordingly, each of the remaining ECUs records data regarding the system operation condition of the vehicle control system held by each of them to its memory. In such manner, even if multiple ECUs are installed as the vehicle control system, a vehicular data recording apparatus is enabled to record required data at a time of occurrence of a predetermined event.

    • A common control unit in an intra box performs common control that is independent from behavior control for controlled objects extracted from function domain controllers. A control condition management unit manages control conditions that are commonly used by the function domain controllers for performing the behavior control. An inspection unit inspects abnormality of the behavior control by the function domain controllers. A resource management unit manages distribution as well as residue amount, storage, and use restriction of commonly owned resource. A plug and play management unit manages system configuration of a vehicle control system. By using the above units, the vehicle control system reduces processing load of function domain controllers for performing the behavior control in respective function domains as well as adaptation operation of the function domain controllers to the system configuration.

    • A level conversion circuit according to the present invention comprises: a first transistor having a gate thereof grounded, for inputting the input voltage to a source thereof and outputting an output voltage from a drain thereof; a second transistor having a drain thereof to which a power supply voltage is applied, for inputting the output voltage outputted from the drain of the first transistor to a gate thereof and outputting, from a source thereof, the output voltage determined by the power supply voltage; a level shift circuit for inputting the output voltage outputted from the source of the second transistor to an input end thereof and outputting, from an output end thereof, a voltage whose level is shifted by a predetermined amount; and a resistance inserted between the output end of the level shift circuit and a ground. Thus, it becomes possible to reduce a current Ii flowing to the gate of the first transistor to a level close to zero.
