摘要： A method for power-efficiency management in a virtualized cluster system is disclosed, wherein the virtualized cluster system comprises a front-end physical host and at least one back-end physical host, and each of the at least one back-end physical host comprises at least one virtual machine and a virtual machine manager for managing the at least one virtual machine. In the method, flow characteristics of the virtualized cluster system are detected at a regular time cycle, then a power-efficiency management policy is generated for each of the at least one back-end physical host based on the detected flow characteristics, and finally the power-efficiency management policies are performed. The method can detect the real-time flow characteristics of the virtualized cluster system and make the power-efficiency management policies thereupon to control the power consumption of the system and perform admission control on the whole flow, thereby realizing optimal power saving while meeting the quality of service requirements, so that a virtualized cluster system with high power- efficiency can be provided.

摘要： A system and method for retransmission of a data segment in a wireless communication system. The system includes a transmitter, a receiver, and a retransmission manager. The transmitter transmits a data segment over a plurality of resource blocks. The data segment includes a plurality of data packets. Each of the data packets corresponds to one of the resource blocks. The receiver receives the data segment from the transmitter and determines that the data segment is incorrectly received. The retransmission manager initiates the retransmission of the data segment in response to the determination that the data segment is incorrectly received. The transmitter retransmits each of the data packets individually in sequence using the resource blocks originally assigned to the data packets.

摘要： In one embodiment, a corrosion inhibiting composition is formed by combining: (a) an inorganic phosphate; (b) a water soluble polyelectrolyte polymer dispersant; (c) a tri or tetracarboxylic acid; and (d) at least one additional component comprising at least one of a C4-C22 aliphatic or aromatic mono- or dicarboxylic acid, a silicate and at least one of a silicone or a silicate stabilizing siloxane compound, and mixtures thereof. Also disclosed are heat transfer fluids that include about 5 % to about 99 % by weight of freezing point-depressing agent; about 1 % to about 95 % by weight of water; and the disclosed corrosion inhibitor composition. A method of reducing corrosion in a heat transfer system containing one or more components that contain magnesium or a magnesium alloy requires that the system and the magnesium containing components be in contact with the disclosed heat transfer fluid.
