摘要： PURPOSE:To accurately determine reactance up to a trouble point in a high resistance earth system regardless of tidal current before the trouble based on a power source voltage and a power source impedance calculated from voltage and current information before and after the trouble, a symmetrically separated voltage and current and an impedance determined by overall length of the power transmission line to be located. CONSTITUTION:Voltage and current are taken into a locator from a voltage transformer and a current transformer to determine symmetrical voltages v1, v2 and v0 and symmetrical currents i1, i2 and i0. Based on these values, current of the locator is determined. From these values, a reactance x1 can be obtained up to the trouble point. But as there is need for the power source reactance, current and voltage, current is obtained by subtracting current due to tidal current from input current of the trouble point locator while the power source voltage done by compensating the voltage at the point of setting the locator for an actual drop after the trouble. Thus, based on the power reactance and the power source voltage, reactance can be determined up to the trouble point.
