    • An rpm regulator for a fuel injection pump for an internal combustion engine such as an injection pump controlled by an annular slide connected to a lever-controlled adjustment device which acts in a regulating manner to effect a delivery quantity decrease as the rpm increases in a positive adjustment, the regulator including a double-armed intermediate lever, whose first lever arm is coupled with the delivery quantity adjusting member of the injection pump and whose second lever arm is acted upon by an rpm signal indicator acting against the force of a regulating spring with a single-armed adjustment lever pivotally mounted on and overlying the free end of the second lever arm between the intermediate lever and a drag lever biased by the regulating spring, the adjustment being supported on one side near its axis of rotation at a hinge point on the drag lever and on the other side on the intermediate lever by engagement of its free end with an elastically yielding stop.

    • A fuel injection pump for internal combustion engines has an adjusting piston for adjusting an injection instant, is acted upon by a return force and delimits a working space, a control slide delimiting a pressure space in the adjusting piston and displaceable in the adjusting piston counter to a return force by a pressure-source supply pressure in the pressure space and controlled as a function of speed of the engine so that the working space can be connected to a pressure source or to a relief space, and so the supply pressure in the pressure space is additionally controlled as a function of further operating parameters of the engine. A feed pump delivering at a rate proportional to speed has a delivery side connected to the pressure space, a pressure line, containing a restriction, directly connects the delivery side of the feed pump to the pressure space so that the pressure is directly connected with the feed pump exclusively by the pressure line and is not connected with the inlet chamber. A discharge line is arranged for relieving the pressure space downstream of the restriction and having an element arranged in the discharge line for controlling the control pressure and influencing a flow a fuel from a delivery line, a pressure maintaining valve is arranged in the delivery line and enable passage to the inlet chamber only at a certain pressure at the delivery line, and a pressure control valve relieves the inlet chamber.

    • A fuel injection pump is proposed, which is provided with a hydraulically operating injection adjuster device which is acted upon by a pressure which is determined by the feed pressure of a feed pump driven in synchronism with the fuel injection pump and by the control behavior of a pressure control valve. The pressure control valve has a piston controlling a relief line, and the piston is controllable by means of the pressure to be fed in, counter to the restoring force of a spring, and counter to a pressure controlled via a pressure maintenance valve and a switchable relief valve disposed parallel thereto. The valve is also connected to a device for adjusting the biasing of an idling spring of the governor of the fuel injection pump. With the increasing of the set pressure for the injection adjusting device upon closure of the valve, the biasing of the idling spring and thereby the idling rpm are both increased whenever the instant of injection is shifted toward "early" during starting and warmup.

    • An improved rpm regulator for a fuel injection pump associated with an internal combustion engine. The regulator includes an intermediate lever, a fuel quantity control sleeve conncted to the intermediate lever, a regulating spring connected to the intermediate lever, a device for generating an rpm signal and applying a force corresponding therewith through the intermediate lever to the fuel quantity control sleeve in opposition to a force exerted by the regulating spring, a control lever, an adjustable stop mounted to the housing and a biasing spring. The intermediate lever is mounted to the control lever which in turn is mounted to the pump housing and is biased against the adjustable stop by the biasing spring.
