    • PURPOSE:To exchange a stamper by a method wherein the press members of the outer periphery of the stamper are moved radially at the removal of the stamper. CONSTITUTION:The mold concerned is so constituted as to be made into an integral body by moving a movable mold 5 toward a fixed mold 15 and clamping them together. On the upper fixed mold side of the movable mold 5, an inverted circular truncated cone-shaped movable mirror 4, on which a stamper 1 is placed, is formed. By means of a hole bored at the center of the movable mirror 4, the inner peripheral part of the stamper 1 is pushed against the surface of the movable mirror 4 with a stamper inner periphery presser foot 3. On the surface of the movable mold 5 at the outer peripheral part of the movable mirror 4, a stamper outer periphery presser foot 2 as the stamper keep member for holding down the outer peripheral part of the stamper 1 is provided so as to be divided into four keep pieces, each of which is mounted movably to the radial direction of the stamper 1.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the film forming speed by previously correcting the groove shape of a disk substrate before the formation of a protective layer by a plasma CVD method and using a plasma DVD apparatus of a specified constitution. SOLUTION: Grooves 3 for guiding tracking and fine patterns for bit signals are inscribed on a disk substrate 1 consisting of polycarbonate, etc. A protective layer 4 and further, a recording layer are laminated and formed thereon by the plasma CVD method to constitute the optical information recording medium. The plasma CVD apparatus consists of a plasma generating chamber and a film forming chamber communicated with and isolated from this chamber and deposits thin films on the surface of the disk substrate 1 arranged in the film forming chamber by dissociating gaseous raw materials, such as SiH4 . The shape of the grooves 3 of the disk substrate 1 before formation of the protective layer film is previously subjected to the shape correction to a desired shape 2, and set the shape after the formation of the protective layer film so as to attain a prescribed groove shape 5.
