The red and green pixels are alternately arranged in the column while the blue pixels being arranged between the neighboring red and each blue pixel is surrounded by the four red and green pixels. Gate lines are arranged at respective pixel rows. Data lines cross over the gate lines in an insulating manner and are arranged at the respective pixel columns. Pixel electrodes and thin film transistor are arranged at the respective pixels. At a predetermined pixel unit, the data lines to the two blue pixel are connected to each other. The pixel electrodes are overlapped with the gate lines or data lines via a passivation layer of low dielectric organic material or insulating material such as SiOC, SiOF.

摘要： A gate wire is formed on a substrate. Next, after forming a gate insulating film, a semiconductor layer and an ohmic contact layer subsequently are formed thereon. Next, a data wire is formed. Next, a passivation layer and an organic insulating film are deposited, and patterned to form contact holes for exposing the drain electrode, the gate pad and the data pad, respectively. Here, the organic insulating film around the contact holes is formed thinner than that in the other portions. Next, the organic insulating film around the contact holes is removed by an ashing process to expose the borderline of the passivation layer in the contact holes, thereby removing an under-cut. Then, a pixel electrode, an assistant gate pad and an assistant data pad respectively connected to the drain electrode, the gate pad and the data pad are formed.

摘要： First, a Cr film and a CrOx film are deposited and patterned using an etchant including 8-12% Ce(NH4)2(NO3)6, 10-20% NH3 and remaining ultra pure water to form a gate wire including a plurality of gate lines, a plurality of gate electrodes and a plurality of gate pads. Next, a gate insulating film, a semiconductor layer and an ohmic contact layer are formed in sequence. A Cr film and CrOx film are deposited in sequence and patterned using an etchant including 8-12% Ce(N114)2(NO3)6, 10-20% NH3 and remaining ultra pure water to form a data wire including a plurality of data lines, a plurality of source electrodes, a plurality of drain electrodes and a plurality of data pads. A passivation layer is deposited and pattered to form a plurality of contact holes respectively exposing the drain electrodes, the gate pads and the data pads. A transparent conductive material or a reflective conductive material is deposited and patterned to form a plurality of pixel electrodes, a plurality of subsidiary gate pads and a plurality of subsidiary data pads electrically connected to the drain electrodes, the gate pads and the data pads, respectively. The gate lines and the data lines with low reflectance are used as a light-blocking film for blocking the light leakage between the pixel areas, and do not increase the black brightness. Accordingly, a separate black matrix need not be provided on the color filter panel, thereby securing both aperture ration of the pixel and high contrast ratio.

摘要： The Mo or MoW composition layer has the low resistivity less than 15 &mgr;&OHgr;cm and is etched to have a smooth taper angle using an Al alloy etchant or a Cr etchant, and the Mo or MoW layer is used for a wiring of a display or a semiconductor device along with an Al layer and a Cr layer. Since the Mo or MoW layer can be deposited so as to give low stress to the substrate by adjusting the deposition pressure, a single MoW layer can used as a wiring by itself. When contact holes are formed in the passivation layer or the gate insulating layer, a lateral etch is reduced by using a polymer layer, an etch gas system CF4+O2 can prevent the etch of the Mo or MoW alloy layer, and an etch gas SF6+HCl(+He) or SF6+Cl2(+He) can form the edge profile of contact holes to be smoothed. Also, when an amorphous silicon layer formed under the Mo or MoW layer is etched by using the Mo or MoW layer as a mask, to use an etch gas system such as hydrogen halide and at least one selected from CF4, CHF3, CHClF2, CH3F and C2F6 yield the good characteristics of TFT, and H2 plasma treatment can cause the characteristics of the TFT to be improved.

According to one embodiment of the present invention, the electric-field drive display device comprises: a first substrate; a first electrode which is formed on the first substrate; a second electrode which is formed on the first substrate and is disposed in parallel with the first electrode; a drive partition wall which is formed on the first electrode and the second electrode and has a plurality of opening and closing holes; and a plurality of drive bodies which are disposed inside each of the opening and closing holes. Consequently, the electric-field drive display device according to one embodiment of the present invention can adjust the amount of light transmitted and so display the desired image by adjusting the positions of the drive bodies in the horizontal direction through the use of electrical force.

摘要： A black matrix having an opening at pixels of a matrix array in a display area, a common wire including common pads and common signal lines, and gate pads in a peripheral area, and an alignment key in outer area to align interlayer thin films are formed on an insulating substrate. Red, blue and green color filters the edge of which overlap the black matrix are formed at the pixels on the insulating substrate, and an organic insulating layer covering the black matrix and the color filters and having a contact hole exposing the gate pad is formed thereon. A gate wire including a gate line connected to the gate pad through the contact hole and a gate electrode connected to the gate line is formed on the organic insulating layer, and a gate insulating layer covering the gate wire is formed on the organic insulating layer. A semiconductor pattern and ohmic contact layers are sequentially formed on the gate insulating layer of the gate electrode. A data wire including a source electrode and a drain electrode that are made of a same layer on the ohmic contact layers and separated from each other, and a data line connected to the source electrode and defining the pixels of a matrix array by crossing the gate line is formed on the gate insulating layer. A passivation layer covering the data wire and having contact holes exposing the gate pad and the data pad is formed, and a pixel wire including a pixel electrode, a redundant gate pad, a redundant data pad that are respectively connected to the drain electrode, the gate pad and the data pad through the contact holes.
