    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate position where inspection is impossible just before or after the obstacle by running over an obstacle such as a wire connection sleeve. SOLUTION: In this wire inspection device 1, a running distance from a base point is measured by a rotary encoder 30, while it runs on a wire W by means of rollers 12, 13 for detecting a damaged condition of the wire W by damage detectors 21, 22 provided with eddy current sensors. For a sleeve S as an obstacle on the wire W, its back end is detected by a sensor 31, and its forward end is detected by a sensor 32. First, the damage detector 21 is placed on an inspection position, with the damage detector 22 placed on a retraction position, so the wire W is inspected by the damage detector 21 only while it runs. As the back end of the sleeve S is detected by the sensor 31, the damage detector 21 is retracted upward at a position close to the back end. After passing the sleeve S to detect the forward end by the sensor 32, the front and the back damage detectors 21, 22 are both restored, and inspection is restarted. The damage detector 22 starts inspection at a position close to the forward end of the sleeve S. After running for a specified distance, the damage detector 22 is retracted upward, and inspection is performed by the damage detector 21 only.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric traction inspection device which stably runs tracking unevenness and mutual vertical/lateral positional relative fluctuation in a hung line or a feeder so as to provide a high quality inspection result. SOLUTION: An electric traction inspection device 1 is provided with driving carriages 2, 3 on a feeder B, a sensor unit 4, a driven carriage 5 on a hung line A, and a sensor unit 6. Both of the hung line A and the feeder B serve as power supply lines. A driving roller 8 rolling on the feeder B is journalled with a frame 7 for the driving carriages 2, 3 so as to be driven by means of a motor 9. The sensor unit 4, which is connected to the driving carriages 2, 3 by means of a connecting mechanism 18, can be freely rotated relatively in the vertical direction and in the horizontal direction and can be freely displaced relatively in the vertical direction. A driven roller 23 rolling on the hung line A is journalled with a frame 22 for the driven carriage 5. The driven carriage 5, which is connected to the sensor unit 4 by means of a connecting mechanism 24, can be freely rotated relatively in the vertical direction and can be freely displaced relatively in the vertical direction and in the opposing direction. The sensor units 4, 6 are provided with flaw detectors 15, 28 detecting a flaw in the feeder B and the hung line A by means of eddy current.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a temperature controller by which the discoloration of a temperature- indicating label in the connection part or the like of an electric circuit conducting an electric current is detected precisely and safely without using man power. SOLUTION: Temperature-indicating labels 1 are pasted on connection parts T1, T2, ..., Tn at a plurality of electric circuits arranged on a trolley wire T. The temperature-indicating labels 1 are discolored irreversibly according to temperatures of the connection parts T1, T2, ..., Tn. A slef-propelled machine 2 is attached onto a feeder W which is parallel to the trolley wire T, and a color sensor 6 is mounted on it. The color sensor 6 is provided with a color camera head 7 which photographs the trolley wire T continuously, with a controller 8 which detects the temperature-indicating labels 1 discolored into a set color and which sandwiches a prescribed electric signal and with a storage device 9 which stores the electric signal. The color sensor 6 photographs the trolley wire T continuously while it is being moved by the self-propelled machine 2, it sequentially monitors the connection parts T1, T2, ..., Tn, it detects the set color indicated by the temperature-indicating labels 1, and it converts the color into the prescribed electric signal so as to by stored in the storage device 9. The connection parts T1, T2, ..., Tn which are at abnormal temperatures can be specified by the electric signal.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a train cable support structure by which a train cable inspection apparatus self-traveling along the train cable can smoothly travel. SOLUTION: A suspended wire M and a trolley wire T are supported with a train cable support apparatus 1 along a train track. A great number of the train cable support apparatus 1 are provided along the train track, and is provided with an insulator 2, a support lever 3, suspended wire support metal fitting 4, and a curved metal fitting 5. The support lever 3 is supported with a structure S by way of the insulator 2, and extends over the train track in a direction crossing the track. The suspended wire support metal fitting 4 is provided above the support lever 3 and supports the suspended wire M. The curved metal fitting 5 the base end side of which is supported below the support level 3 supports the trolley wire on the end side. The upper, side and lower directions at one end side of the same direction of all the train cable support apparatus 1 are opened. The travelling part 22 of the train cable inspection apparatus 21 is disposed in a space opened on the one end side above the support lever 3, the arm 23 disposed in a space opened on one end side of the support lever, and the lower member disposed in a space opened on one end side below the support lever respectively so that the train cable inspection apparatus 21 can travel without interfering with the train cable support apparatus 1.
