    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent operational failure of a spool in a second control valve for adjusting opening of an extraction passage. SOLUTION: This variable displacement compressor reduces delivery capacity when crank pressure Pc increases, and increases the delivery capacity when the crank pressure Pc reduces. A first control valve CV1 adjusts opening of an air supply passage 29 for connecting a delivery chamber 22 and a crank chamber 5. The second control valve CV2 internally autonomously adjusts opening of a first extraction passage 27 for connecting the crank chamber 5 and a suction chamber 21, in response to valve opening of the first control valve CV1. The second control valve CV2 is composed of a spool valve, and a second valve part 88 is arranged in the spool 75. The second valve part 88 cuts off communication between a back pressure chamber 80 and a valve chest 71, via clearance 87 existing around a cylindrical surface 77 of the spool 75 in the second control valve CV2, when a first valve part 79 sets the first extraction passage 27 to minimum opening, in response to opening of the air supply passage 29 by the first control valve CV1.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamic damper for preventing the lowering of vibration suppressing effect due to the influence of an external magnetic source on a mass which performs pendular movement.
      SOLUTION: A hub 44 constituting an electromagnetic clutch part 17 having a solenoid coil 43, fixed to the front end of a driving shaft 16, is provided with a damper part 50. The damper part 50 is formed with a plurality of recessed portions 51 each of which stores a roller 53. The roller 53 is moved along a rolling guide surface 52 of the recessed portion 51 to perform pendular movement. The pendular movement suppresses the rotational vibration of the driving shaft 16, generated during the rotation. The roller 53 is formed at a stainless steel (a non-magnetic material). Thus, the effective vibration suppressing effect with the pendular movement is achieved without receiving the influences of magnetic force generated by the solenoid coil 43.

The spoke portion 42B intercepts power transmission between both portions by means of breaking when an amount of transmitting torque between the pulley 17 and cylinder-shaped portion 42A becomes excessive. Rollers 47 and 48 controlling rotational vibration of the pulley 17 by means of the swing of the pendulum are arranged in the pulley 17. The maximum value of fluctuated transmitting torque caused by rotational vibration generated in the power transmitting mechanism PT that is in a regular power transmitting state is reduced by the swing of the pendulum.

In rotation of the drive shaft 16, resonance due to rotation vibration of the compressor C is controlled by the pendulum motion.
