    • A method of removing a T-type fence post from the earth with a powered, mobile piece of equipment controlled by a human operator includes attaching a substantially flat plate to a lift arm of the powered, mobile piece of equipment such that the plate hangs substantially vertically from the lift arm and can move in an arc, the plate having an opening with a top wall and a bottom wall, moving the powered, mobile piece of equipment in a first direction to pull the plate over the fence post such that an upper portion of the post enters the opening with the bottom and upper walls of the opening engaging the post with sufficient force to retain the post in the opening when the post is pulled from the earth and raising the lift arm to pull the post from the earth in a substantially vertical direction.

    • A cabinet for housing computer devices with an internal air distribution system is disclosed. The cabinet includes an internal chamber defined by a side wall arrangement having at least a front wall. The cabinet includes a support structure for computer devices, wherein the support structure is positioned within the internal chamber of the cabinet. The air distribution device comprises an elongated duct defining a passageway for air distribution. The duct is positioned within the internal chamber and has a plurality of adjustable air discharge ports that are in fluid communication with the passageway. The air distribution device further includes an inlet fan in fluid communication with the passageway. By precisely directing cool air to a frontal portion of the computer devices, the air distribution device reduces the temperature gradients within the cabinet and the quantity of heat that accumulates in the cabinet during operation of the computer devices.

    • An inertial (“INS”)/GPS receiver uses injected alignment data to determine the alignment of the INS sub-system when the receiver is in motion during start-up. The alignment data is determined from parameterized surface information, measured GPS velocity, and a known or predetermined angular relationship between the vehicle on which the receiver is mounted and an inertial measurement reference, or body, frame associated with the accelerometers and gyroscopes of the inertial measuring unit (“IMU”). The parameterized surface information, which provides a constraint, may be the orientation of the surface over which the vehicle that houses the receiver is moving. The receiver uses the initial GPS position to determine the location of the vehicle on the parameterized surface, and thus, the known surface orientation. The receiver then determines the roll, pitch and heading of the vehicle on the surface using the associated GPS velocity vector. Thereafter, the receiver uses the calculated roll, pitch and heading of the vehicle and the known or predetermined angular relationship between the vehicle and the IMU body frame to determine a rotation matrix that relates the IMU body frame to a computation or referenced frame used by the receiver.
