SOLUTION: The aluminum-silicon alloy die cast alloy fundamentally comprises, in mass percent: 6 to 20% silicon, 0.05 to 0.10% strontium, 0.40% maximum iron, 4.5% maximum copper, 0.5% maximum manganese, 0.6% maximum magnesium, 3.0% maximum zinc and the balance aluminum. The alloy has a very low iron content and relatively high strontium content that prevents soldering to dies. The alloys of the present invention also have a modified eutectic silicon and modified iron morphology, when iron is present, resulting in low microporosity and high impact properties. SOLUTION: A propeller 10 is provided with holes 130 interconnecting the inside of a hub 14 and the external wall part of a propeller hub together. Each hole 130 is installed in a position corresponding to a propeller blade 20. When the propeller 10 is rotated, if exhaust gas or the like is exhausted out of the hole 130, this exhaust gas is mixed in water drained off by the propeller blade 20. If so, pressure to be imposed on this propeller blade is reducible. Therefore, in the case where engine power is insufficient, the hole 130 effectively works. A plug is installed in this hole 130. In this illustration, a cap 150 of the plug alone is shown. The plug has an opening 160. With the plug interchanged, a size of the opening 160 is alterable. Accordingly, a quantity of exhaust gas to be exhausted out of the hole 130 is freely adjustable.

The cavitation of a propeller in the constant speed gear can thereby be prevented.

摘要： PURPOSE: To provide a boss for reinforcing a structural interface between an outer shell of a high-pressure vessel and a nonmetallic liner by furnishing a boss with a ring-shaped neck protruding outward from an opening in the outer shell, a ring-shaped flange for reinforcing the periphery of the opening, and locking grooves to generate engagement with tabs on the liner. CONSTITUTION: A pressure vessel 10 is formed from a fiber-reinforced outer shell 12 and a nonmetallic internal liner 14. A boss 16 protrudes outward upon penetrating a polar opening 18 in the outer shell 12 and forms a pressure port 20. The boss 16 is furnished with a neck 24 protruding outward, where a throat 26 fitted with a taper is extended upon penetration of the polar opening 18. From the neck 24, a ring-shaped support flange 28 is extended, and its outer surface 30 is located around the opening 30. An angular mounting flange 32 is installed protruding for a prescribed distance W2 outward in the radial direction from the support flange 28, and locking grooves 40 and 42 are provided at the inner and outer surfaces. The locking grooves 40 and 42 are fitted in tabs 44 and 46 of the internal liner 12.
