    • A personal pontoon watercraft having a pair of pontoons with twin bladders secured by a three piece yoke frame which maintain the pontoons spaced apart and symmetrical and parallel with each other to accommodate the user, with an integrated load leveling system for personal and operational convenience. The watercraft is adapted to support an adjustable motor and anchor mount behind the user and two piece oars in gunwales at the outermost part of the yoke frame. The design provides for auxiliary items such as a mesh fish basket, storage containers and the like. Further, the watercraft is assembled with no special tools and when disassembled the entire watercraft can be stored in a suitable bag having a length of approximately four feet and a girth of approximately six to seven feet.

    • A vibration dampened fuel tank assembly includes a fastener system and a fuel tank having integrated retention areas for horizontal and/or vertical retention to a fixed surface. Each retention area includes an access area that leads to a mounting lip having a semi-annular opening for receipt of the fastener system. The fastener system preferably includes a bolt-like member, a compression surface and a vibration dampening member, wherein the vibration dampening member has a first and a second diameter such that the first diameter fits within the mounting lip opening while the second diameter overlies the mounting lip. When mounted, the fastener system is engaged to the mounting lip of the fuel tank and affixes to a fixed surface such as a floor or sidewall. The fuel tank assembly, thereby, effectively secures the fuel tank and dampens the repetitive vibrations typically associated with the dynamic watercraft environment.

    • The present invention provides a virtual slalom course and display which allows a water skier to develop the skill and timing to maneuver through a slalom course without the need for an official course. The apparatus is operable to display to the skier where the virtual slalom buoys are (or where they would be), where the skier is in relation to the buoy, and/or where the skier should be at any moment in time if the skier is to optimally traverse the virtual slalom course. The apparatus includes inputs for the speed of the boat, the dimensions of the desired virtual slalom course (preferably the dimensions of an official slalom course) and the length of the rope in order to calculate the skier's ideal position. Feedback through a rope angle sensor preferably facilitates the display of the skier's actual position.

    • A body hull is used in the new water sport of body hulling. The body hull comprises a front panel that extends approximately to the thigh of a person wearing it. The body hull further has a back panel and buckles for connecting the two panels under the person's arms. In one embodiment, the front panel is a relatively flat skiff-like hullform design, but it has a slightly convex shape centered along a longitudinal axis. The person wraps a tow harness behind his shoulders and under his arms and attaches the tow harness to the control bar or handles of a kite. When in the water, the person controls the kite to pull him across the water surface on the body hull front panel. For high winds, the outside surface of the front panel has a shallow vee or deep vee hullform centered along the longitudinal axis. The shallow or deep vee hullform enables the body hull front panel to smoothly penetrate the waves as the person hydroplanes across the water.
